Andy
I used this tut for help. C/c please (oh, and could someone tell me how to get fonts from dafont.com into gimp?). Edit: changed quality to 100%
guthix121
I like it, but why make it such a bad quality? To make fonts, download the file, then extract it. Copy the TTF file once you extract the zipped file, go to your Control Panel>Fonts and then paste it there. Own a forum? Advertise it for Free!!! When saving you should save as .jpg, I'm not sure how gimp works but there should be a saved optimized as/save for web which will help with the quality/filesize. Anyways, its pretty good for a first, the pixel stretch worked quite nicely, and the render is blended good. The only problem is the text. I can't give much advice as I suck at text too but the 'Steve-O' text should be a touch higher, the Don't try this at home is fine where it is. I don't really like the Steve-O font but the Don't try this at home font works pretty good. Nice sig for a first keep it up read up on some tutorials ect. I'll check out deviantart for tuts. Thanks.

Still its pretty good for a first Deviant Art Account2 Signatures | 6 Photographs | 1 Other

guthix121
Not bad, its a little simple. Maybe add something to the middle. Not enough going on. Own a forum? Advertise it for Free!!! Yeah, that's what I thought, but whenever I added anything it "took over" the picture, if you know what I mean.

Andy
Tried expanding it, did not work out well. I found one I was working on a few days ago. Couldn't finish it because the layers were merged :S Very bland. I don't like it much.

ThruItAll
I always save as .jpg. I thought gif could only handle 256 colors or something? Enough of the file types. All it looks like is the px stretched, render duped, then smudged. danke Schon Sam!^^"Blood runs thicker, oh were thick as thieves you know"-Carl Barât

Andy
OMG SORRY. JUST DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THIS POST. MY MIND WARPED AGAIN. Er. I always save as .jpg. I thought gif could only handle 256 colors or something? Enough of the file types. All it looks like is the px stretched, render duped, then smudged. Does that mean it's bad? If so give me some links to tuts for making sigs like you do? Great sigs, though if Steve-O was brightened up that might look even better I tried, but tbh it didn't go well with his clothes.
