This is a guide on how to runescraft law runes quickly and efficiently using the balloon network unlocked at the end of An Enlightened Journey. This method is for members only. Sorry F2P!

 

 

 

Sounds good, what do I need?

 

 

 

Well, a few quests and good skills, and a good inventory!

 

 

 

Stats : 54 rc (essential) (Not counting quest requirments)

 

Quests : Death Plateau, Troll Stronghold, Enlightened Journey.

 

 

 

 

 

Here is a picture of the recommended inventory while using this method :

 

 

 

 

Law tiara : Essential, you need this for entrance to the altar. Can be replaced by Law Talisman.

 

 

 

Glory : Not needed, but I like mine, so that if my pouches degrade, it's a quick teleport to edgeville. Can be replaced by anything.

 

 

 

Spotted Cape : Recommended, reduces weight, allowing more time to run. Replaceable by spottier cape (highly recommended)

 

 

 

Boots of Lightness : Highly recommended. Reduces weight, allowing more time to run. You can also wear no boots. But I recoomend these.

 

 

 

Ring of Duelling : Essential. You will need this to teleport back to castle wars for banking. Cannot be replaced!

 

 

 

Log : Essential for getting to Entrana from Castle Wars. Cannot be replaced.

 

 

 

Pure Essence : Essential. You will need this for making your runes!

 

 

 

Essence Pouches : Highly recommended. These allow you to carry more essence, which is always good! Use up to the largest pouch you can!

 

 

 

*Penance gloves are also helpful for the same reasons as the boots and cape, but I don't have them :XD:

 

 

 

*You can use super energies to keep running if you want, but I don't, i'm too cheap.

 

 

 

So how is it done?

 

 

 

It's simple.

 

 

 

Step 1 : At castle wars. Deposit all armour and weapons. Withdraw a ring of duelling, essence pouches, pure essennce and weight reducing equipment. Equip all equippables and fill pouches. Withdraw one log and rest of pure essence.

 

 

 

 

How your inventory/items look like.

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2: Run (or walk, I run) to Assistant Marrow, and click "Fly"

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you don't know how to find him, follow the red line on this map.

Step 3: Select to fly to "Entrana" (this will use up your log)

 

 

 

You will get a message like this everytime you log in. (like entering bank pins)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4: While on entrana, run or walk (I walk to bridge then run) to the Law altar. Follow this map if your lost :

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 5: Enter the altar, craft your runes (empty pouches if needed) craft runes again (if pouches were used) and teleport to c wars with your duel ring.

 

 

 

Then you repeat, simple eh?

 

 

 

 

 

How much stuff will I need?

 

*The number in brackets is the amount with a law TALISMAN. Without brackets = Law TIARA

 

 

 

Logs

 

• No pouch: 1 Normal log for every 27 Pure essences (26)
   
  *Small pouch: 1 Normal log for every 29 Pure essences (28)
   
  *Up to medium pouch: 1 Normal log for every 34 Pure essences (33)
   
  *Up to large pouch: 1 Normal log for every 42 Pure essences (41)
   
  *Up to giant pouch: 1 Normal log for every 53 Pure essences (52)
   
  

 

 

 

Duelling Rings

 

• * No pouch: 1 RoD for every 216 Pure essences (208)
   
  * Small pouch: 1 RoD for every 232 Pure essences (224)
   
  * Up to medium pouch: 1 RoD for every 272 Pure essences (264)
   
  * Up to large pouch: 1 RoD for every 336 Pure essences (328)
   
  * Up to giant pouch: 1 RoD for every 424 Pure essences (416)
   
  

 

 

 

So, how is the xp? And my profit?

 

 

 

The following info. will be explained in lists, I can't really implement it into a paragraph :anxious:

 

*Numbers are in the same format as above

 

 

 

A normal load, with half of time running so you donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t need energy potions, takes 100 seconds. That means you can do 36 loads in an hour.

 

• # No pouch: 972 Law runes every hour = 9,234 xp/hour (936 - 8,892)
   
  # Small pouch: 1,044 Law runes every hour = 9,918 xp/hour (1,008 - 9,576)
   
  # Up to medium pouch: 1,224 Law runes every hour = 11,628 xp/hour (1,188 - 11,286)
   
  # Up to large pouch: 1,512 Law runes every hour = 14,364 xp/hour (1,476 - 14,022)
   
  # Up to giant pouch: 1,908 Law runes every hour = 18,126 xp/hour (1,872 - 17,784)

 

 

 

I don't use energy pots so I can't make efficient times of that method

 

 

 

 

 

And the money?!?!??!

 

 

 

I'm getting there! Let's break it down...

 

 

 

Pure essence = 125 gp ea.

 

Ring of dueling (8) = around 900 gp ea.

 

Logs = Around 25 - 40 gp ea.

 

 

 

Law runes are around 300 odd gp ea. So that's quite a bit of profit

 

 

 

• *No pouch: 972 Law runes every hour = 179k-213k gp/hour (936 - 172k-205k)
   
  *Small pouch: 1044 Law runes every hour = 192K-228k gp/hour (1008 - 185k-221k)
   
  *Up to medium pouch: 1224 Law runes every hour = 225k-268k gp/hour (1188 - 218k-260k)
   
  *Up to large pouch: 1512 Law runes every hour = 278k-331k gp/hour (1476 - 271k-323k)
   
  *Up to giant pouch: 1908 Law runes every hour = 351k-418k gp/hour (1872 - 344k-410k)

I think pure essence prices have risen recently, you might want to update that. Also, how quickly do laws sell on the GE? This is a really good guide and I'm considering this method for 65 -> 70 runecrafting. :

Hey, not bad, I like the number figures you put up with. Now if someone could be oh so nice and try to figure out an energy pot section for this, I would be intrigued further. Oh I did notice that if I got this right, that that is not the highest cape? That means you could lower your weight again? Also what is your agility level just to ask because that also defines a little bit of how fast your energy restores.

Energy pots are 84-96 gp ea in grand exchange!!! already bought 1.7k+ of them, restore 10% of run and super restore 20% and there 780 gp ea.....

I think just recalculations with energy and super energy pots would be good, I personally have tons of super energies leftover from herblore so I would be interested to see how useful they are in gaining extra exp with this method.

Could you be a little more clear here as to exactly what you are doing? Some of the numbers, such as the bolded information I could not understand.

The info you bolded is the same format as non bolded, except for a law talisman. (I used all figures this way as a general formula) Sorry if this wan't clear, I'll try and fix it up ;)

I normally glory tele to edge as soon as one degrades, but you can do it to your own preferance.
