*has no antivirus software <_<*

Only thing I have is Spybot S&D... oh well, i'm just too lazy to get some software :D

With that atitude, don't bother coming here when you get "hax0rd!1!'

If I do get "M3d hax0rd!1!" I wouldn't mind, I'm completely familiar with starting over with nothing but stats :)

Besides, I really don't browse many RS sites other than Tip.It, so if I do get a keylogger, chances are it isn't for RS :P

Would you be as happy if you got your credit card numbers stolen and all your money nicked in real life as you would in runescape?

And I don't get why people are nitpicking, it's a package. You don't get to choose, unless you want a whole different package.

That's bull. Dell and just about all the other main sellers out there let you pick components. Try it yourself - it may be more expensive than getting stuff yourself, but you can definitely customize whatever Dell comes up with. Good thing, too.

if I wouldn't have upgaded my RAM and a few other items it would have been $600

Don't be so hasty to criticize his video card etc.. It's not even a card. It's good that he doesn't have one, because you can easily buy one later for much cheaper. Same with the antivirus software, just cause none was bought doesn't mean none is going to be used.

I would have just got 512MB RAM though and bought another 512 seperate, Dell charges a lot for it.. especialy when you get into 1GB sticks  (though there would be no point to buy so much on a single stick right now)

I sort of guessed that ;). There's not a lot of Dells that come with 1GB of RAM by default, and most would have had a larger HDD by default (and been a lot more expensive, etc. etc.)

As for Norton, are you trying to remove it through add/remove programs in the control panel? If so, check under the Control Panel's user management thingy if your account is set to be an Administrator :)
