I've been monitoring the prices for a week now, it has dropped 5(!) million coins. I'm look to buy it soon to (hopefully) speed up my strength training. I'm hoping someone on tip.it can give me the best time to buy (I'm pretty sure after summoning), and if the sword is useful or not. I do not want to spend more than I have to. I am willing to wait.

 

 

 

I have the money to buy it, by the way.

The stats are a bit lower then whip, slower, and 2 handed..

 

If anything get a bandos godsword, or something else.

Actually the same as whip and the same speed. Terrible option for training attack or def, but I'm training strength. I'm willing to sacrifice the +14 or whatever def from my rune def for more attack than d scim+rune def.

 

 

 

As for godswords, I'm looking into it. I probably can't afford even zammy though. And I think the sara sword spec is better than bandos and zammy's spec.

Has the same stats as a whip, but since it is two handed rune defender would make whip a bit better.

 

Same speed as whip.

 

The special attack may make up for being 2 handed.

 

 

 

I'd wait till Summoning comes out to buy it. It'll probably drop a bit more.

You couldnt be more wrong, it is identical to the whip in speed and strength. big bonus is you can actually train strength. whip + rune def is better but u cant train str. anyways DONT post if u have no idea wtf ur talking about. On topic i have no clue, just wait for the price to bottom out and begin to climb again then snag one im thinking.

Well the Zammy godsword would be good for the stats, and not the spec really.

 

I wanted the sara sword, but the mage exp thing didn't appeal to me.

 

Like I said before, I'd just keep a whip till you can buy a godsword.

I'd personally go 3-5 days after. If you think about it, when summoning gets released everyone will want money to train it. Accordingly they will all sell items that are replacable and worth alot, Sara sword sound similar? :wink: After the initial hype people will slowly bore of it and not be willing to spend as much. That's when they'll start doing normal training again. I predict 3-5 days for the peak of this. So yeah, wait for a large increase in supply but it's harder now with GE because we have to wait for the 5% decrease to slowly do it's work.
