Sprout_teh_druid
EDIT: It appears that this has now been fixed... ah well, it was fun while it lasted. Yes, you can actully summon a karmathulu before summoning's out! To do this most efficiently, you must have- Started Rum Deal Finished Recruitment Drive Have a decent combat level and attention span At least three reasonable valuable objects, such as gems. To start out, head to braindeath island and start killing Zombie Pirates. (NOT swabs- pirates). Eventully you will get a Karmathulu, The drop is a bit uncommon, but you'll get one eventully. I suggest a ROW. After this, bring only your three valuables and the karmathulu- make sure you're not skulled, and set your respawn point to Falador. Enter White Knight Castle wearing nothing and ask your friends over to go show off. Aggro about 2-3 knights with auto retaliate OFF, and let them kill you. When you die, you'll keep the three valuble items, but, what's this?!? (picture courtesy of demon_inferno) Instead of a measly gravestone, you get a living, breathing Karmathulu that walks around for about 20 seconds and then vanishes! Any of the interaction options result in a 'Nothing Intresting Happens'. You can also summon more than one karmathulu at once! 28 karmathulu army anyone? This tactic can also skip the three valuables by being skulled. In addition, while doing Rum Deal, you can fish for the Karmathulu as well during a certain stage of the quest. (thanks, icecube!) You can also do this anywhere where there are hostile monsters or if you use nightshade or the like- if one of your valuables can teleport, you can even go watch the mayhem! 28 karmathulu at world 2 GE? I'd like to see that. :D If anyone has any additions or corrections to my first guide, please give them to me. :D The topic where the info was first found can be found here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=730 ... sc&start=0 Enjoy your squid! Can be looted to obtain a variable item and reobtain the imp jar. If you are insane, it can instead be exchanged for impling jars from Elnock Inquisitor. icecube
Don't forget that if you're doing the quest, you can just fish for them.
