So far I have found three possible methods: Range: Range them in antifire shield and normal range gear, and mage pray the whole time, also drinking antifire pots as nessesary. Melee 1: Use full out melee gear and mage pray the whole time, also drinking antifire pots and nessesary. Melee 2: Use proselyte, mage pray and use antifire potions. Melee 2 method does not seem like it would work, a level 223 dragon meleeing you in proselyte. I can afford the best melee and range gear, and will do either method. My Stats: Skillz Ftw is level 108.85 [Melee] ASDHRPM: 78 80 96 96 99 76 96 By the time I intend to do this I will have 80 attack and strength, 80 prayer, and may defense may or may not rise. I've tried meleeing and it's slower then ranging as far as a whip or a d long on stab mode goes. The only method that could possibly be faster is using Veracs with mage protect, which I doubt is actually faster and requires you to use food. I'm pretty sure that you don't need an anti-fire shield if you back up and mage pray... but I could be wrong. Yeah, you don't need an anti fire shield if you mage pray and use anti-fire pots. God books are a great substitute or you could use a two handed weapon like a crystal bow. Seeing as your range is much higher then mine and your melee stats are lower it'll be an even bigger diference. According to that guide you will only do like 4.5 trips per hour which is 62 dragon hides Just from quickly counting that it's actually 76 hides (remembering they drop 2 hides and one bone). But you'll probably get a good amount more, my range = 87 and yours is 99. Anyway, I'm pretty sure mine is the only proper guide around, or at least I'm yet to find another.
