well, i USED to be a MAJOR [aw] fan, but as of late, i honestly don't know. do people even watch some of the shows on there? some of them just seem to be there to waste time... [aw] needs to get better shows, even if they have to like add more anime (which would be a total plus for me :thumbsup: .) if they came out with new episodes of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, well jeez i'd just be happy with that. but, what are we getting now?

 

 

 

 

 

dark place hospital - a comedy action hospital about a bad writer using bad props for a bad show that should have never been made, but was anyway in an attempt to be funny.

 

 

 

xavier renegade angel... or whatever it is... : this indian, cow, bird, snake thing tries to find the meaning of life(?) or his existence(?) either way it's full of randomness, mostly disgusting stuff, and absolutely no set plot. (no this is NOWHERE NEAR as funny as the randomness of things like ATHF.... NOWHERE NEAR...)

 

 

 

tim and erics awesome show, great job! : right, so this one looks like two guys just having fun making their own t.v. shows. well, it used to be an ok-ish show, but, now all it is ... you know what, i'm lost... forgive me if i can't find the comedy in a grown man pretending to be a child singer that looks like he's about ready to pass out from dehydration and heat stroke.

does anybody else actually enjoy watching these, or at least understand them? am i in the wrong, or out of the loop now? i've honestly been watching [aw] for about ... well since it came out. they seem to be on "their last leg" in my eyes. the only reason i'm here posting this is because i can't find anything else to watch and i honestly can't stand to watch those "shows", if they so can be called. if i were them i'd actually have CARTOONS on a station that... well was made for CARTOONS. at least big-o is back, with fooly cooly which i was happy to see. post your opinion please.

Xavier is just awesome. It's a really good show IMO, one of the better ones on [AS] atm. Some of the episodes just boarder on WTF and its pretty funny too. (It's a subtle humor, but still).

but those aren't even cartoons. the only show i never had a problem not being a cartoon was robot chicken, but now i hate that since there's less funny and just more disgusting.

 

 

 

whatever happened to funny, or random funny, or serious cartoons? it seems like [aw] swim is moving away from the good stuff it had going for years and is moving to random, putrid, and live action... honestly i'd rather watch sitcoms than tom and eric, and dark place... comedy like a single episode of the office would blow an entire season of both of them out of the water easily.

 

 

 

the main thing i'm concerned about is if they are going to continue turning cartoon network into a wasteland of re-runs and vomit.

Xavier is pretty confusing. I mean, it follows his journey of finding his fathers killer (he didn't know it was him) while trying to help others and instil his 'wisdom' upon them.

 

 

 

 

 

Really it just follows his journeys. I won't lie that the show confuses me a lot but it's just so awesome.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As far as the live action shows go I don't mind them. I mean if you're interested though ATHF and Squidbillies are having new EP's this jan.

I saw Xavier once when I was up late and just had nothing else to do, what a messed up show (episode involving a gorilla) :shock:

I'm still pissed that they took a lot of the anime off AS, but they're still an awesome TV show. They haven't changed that much, though I do agree that Perfect Hair Forever should have never existed.

They need to show Neon Genesis Evangelion again...and this time with the movie...last time, no movie which made me mad cuz' the ending to the show sucked...

I've never seen Neon Genesis Evangelion..but I've wanted to. I'd take that, Futurama, ATHF, and Fooley Cooley over some of the new crap like Tim & Erics ANY day.

 

 

 

The only 2 newer shows that are decent are Metalocalypse and Shin Chan..thats my opinion though. I love Shin Chan, lol.

actually i think he means what happened to futurama on adult swim. it has been permanently cancelled after its last big marathon spanning a few nights which consisted of every single episode. adult swim said that they would never air the show again...

Yeah I find that a lot of the shows these guys dislike on [AS] dislike it just because it isn't the same kind of humor stuff like Family guy is. (and yeah, thats the show they are talking about).
