Extra RAM.

RAM is very fincicky, they have to be basically the same size and speed to work together for sure. Why, 2 weeks ago I bought an extra ram chip that was same speed, but not the same size and crashed my comp (my fault, I know)

Yes it will work, don't listen to the other people above me. It doesn't even have to be the same speed because all the ram installed will work at the speed of the slowest stick.

All you need to make sure of is that it's the same type (don't be putting ddr2 ram in a ddr motherboard :P ).

If you need to know the type of ram you have in your computer, you can download CPUZ.

I would also suggest buying ram online at a place like http://www.newegg.com instaid of buying from Dell because that overcharge.
