January 17, 200818 yr I think I may be the only person who is using this skill properly and understands the benefits of summoning because I am at the moment MAKING money from this skill. Now here is a little example on how you can make money using a granite crab: 1. Go to catherby. (You will need 1 granite crab pouch and 1 harpoon or lobster cage). 2. Find a big net fishing spot and get ur crab to start fishing. 3. Find a close by harpoon spot and start fishing. 4. Not only are you now getting sea weed and other fish but also a bonus to ur own fishing allowing you to catch fish faster. 5. Bank it. If done right you can make 2500gp or more just from the one granite crab. Add on the fish you just caught yourself and you're making quite a bit of gp here... EVERY familiar has the potential to earn back more or the same amount of gp that it cost you. If you're losing money then you are doing it wrong. Jagex should know better than to cave in to the ranters because they will still be losing money and not taking advantage of this great money making skill.
January 17, 200818 yr unless you didnt notice a Majority of players didnt know the correct procedure, I myself being one, at using these to make money. al they did was simply guide us and lower shard prices because before hand 50ea when you add it up and depending on your combat lv (before summoning applies to it). Some people couldnt afford to level to say 50 or so, make a big summon monster and go kill something as big a KBD, KQ, CE or some other big-bad monster with huge drops. Popoto.~<3
January 17, 200818 yr People don't under stand summoning now, nor probably will. If they could, they could easily make as much or more profit than you are. It's not just a straight forward skill, this one actually takes some skills to work properly. ^Click for my Newgrounds page!

January 17, 200818 yr at 50 gp you break even with the skill. I'd say it's much better to be able to gain some profit. Also it's expensive for people who are just starting the skill so the halved cost is perfectly reasonable. 76th to reach 99 Construction on 6th of February 2007379th to reach 99 Runecrafting on 4th of November 2007 Finally the secrets of goal achieving are revealed! January 17, 200818 yr I think the cause of this problem was the quest itself. In my opinion it did not fully explain summoning at all, people had completed the quest and still didn't know how to train it. The possible benefits of the skill could also have been explained more clearly.
January 17, 200818 yr What we need for this skill is a guide for every familiar on how to make the most money with it, in an effective way. No doubt that there'll be people working on it, it just needs some time. Twitter ||| Google+ ||| Facebook ||| LinkedIn ||| My very interesting weblog about science

It's a lil hard to notice because it's indirect (hence why everyone didn't realize it) but the summons all allow you to perform tasks most efficiently. The easiest example is for combat. Having a familiar to hit with you, even if he can only hit 20% as good as you, is still very effective meaning that when you would normally kill 10 creatures now you can kill 12. More kills means more drops and more drops means more cash. The highest summons are around lvl 100 so you can just imagine how much that will improve your combat effectiveness. Then there's stuff like the beaver for woodcutting, the abyssal summons for abyssal runecrafting and there's a summon that is able to get sharks. Those are just a few examples among many. 76th to reach 99 Construction on 6th of February 2007379th to reach 99 Runecrafting on 4th of November 2007 Finally the secrets of goal achieving are revealed!
