May 22, 200521 yr SHOPS! my idea, is to stop autotalkers, and typing the same sentence for 2 hours straight... and also Scammers there would be an option called 'open shop' then you can put the stuff your selling into it then you give them a price ( so you can't really scam... ) you put a title above your head when other people go over your character with the cursor. option, right click, 'see shop' then people can buy your stuff just like that, you also get an extra message like this. 'Are you sure you want to buy a 'item name here' for 'price' ? accept and decline button inside. and maybe a new random event to stop ppl from afk selling im sending this to jagex and i hope to get a nice respon, post your opinion here, Thanx.. :) ^^Yeah, and im writing a book about it!^^Bounty Hunter is nothing more than a lame ass excuse not to say there is no PKing.I HATE JAGEX!
May 22, 200521 yr Excellent idea - you could manufacture stuff, leave it with a 'virtual' merchant, and come back later when it's sol and collect your cash. Would save a lot of mucking about.....

May 22, 200521 yr a while ago, i had an idea similar which was to nominate certain items in ur inv as a "shop item", then u set ur price and ur player then was given an extra option when right-clicked which was to "view shop". It would have the same screen as ne other shop but was only acessable thru u, i guess as u move around so does the shop. this way u wouldnt be earning money thru "not playing" which im beginning to think jagex is against (no more rares etc.)
May 22, 200521 yr It could act as a money drain too if you charged a 0.5% commission on the purchase. However with my dial up connection ill always be too slow to buy the best deals =(
May 22, 200521 yr this is what runescape NEEDS. if jagex wants to compete with the larger MMORPGS, they need a feature like this. It is easyer and simplified buying and selling, something runescape does not have right now. Ive thought of this ever since i started playing and ive sent this idea to jagex once a month for the past 5 months.

May 23, 200521 yr POS would be good but auction house would be better since this would centralize all merchants and 1000s of items at one place. Furthmore all items prices would stablize. It would work much like the stall and yes there would be a charge to put an item for bid. I could go on but an auction house is self-explanitory.

May 25, 200521 yr no, no wall mart dude, that would make the game waaay to easy I don't see how this would make the game any eaiser, It would just make things run faster instead of waiting for someone to come around with an abyssal whip for sale just go to the AH and see if they are being sold their. It doesn't make it easier, just faster.

I hate to keep making infances to ffxi, but its the only mmorpg i've played with and auction house system and I don't see it making things any easier on that game because most items are bought as soon as they hit the AH. Lets look at it this way, the only people would sell lets say coal on the AH would be the same people doing it now, the only difference is they don't have to be on and they wouldn't have to or have the ability to sell their items to one person, benifiting many people instead of just a few who can buy 300 coal from one person. This would spred the wealth amoung many people, but everyones items would be bought eventually if they are in demand. So a person who wants to buy 1k coal would actually be able to, but then again they could in the first place anyways and coal is always being sold somewhere at some time. Yes things would be faster mayeb a little easier, but not on the extent of a walmart because walmart is cheap and this wouldn't be. Now that I think about it I don't know what i just proved whatever I hate it when that happens.
