I have NO IDEA how and where to get the fighter torso, and what i need and whether or not im capable of it.

Yes, you are capable of getting it. You get the torso from the Barbarian Assault minigame, located in Barbarian Outpost, north of Ardy.

How long does it take?

 

People say it takes LONG to get, and i need a 'reliable' team.

The tip.it guide is just confusing lol

It can take a few days, but in the game, you have a team of 4-5 people, and the better your teammates are at the game, the faster it goes, you can bring the best armor if you want, but there are healers there to heal you. There's a tutor guy there that'll tell you what you should do in each role, hes actually what helped me lol.

I'd just use non-degrading armor and try to find some teams.

Anyway, fighter torso is one of the weakest armours in the game. Don't get it, it's a waste of time. It's a wanna-be VK ;)

you might want to upgrade to a granite body, its heavy but very good with def, also do fremmy isles and get a neitiznot helm. and as for the skirt...who really cares that its a skirt? tell everyone your scottish and its a kilt, for crying out loud...

Granite body, imo, is not good for its moeny, hence its only a little better tats than rune body.

good thing, high five boy non-skirt wearers! d med + g plate + d skirt on a boy = immediate noobness.

 

get a neitznot, get a g plate if you want (it takes waaay less then a day to get it or 99k in barb assault, or 150k at G.E), I dont see anything too bad with the rune plate and legs. ( i wear them myself)
