Killing a Ket-Zek...

The last Karamja Achievement left to do...

What should I bring? Mind that this is solely Ket-Zek, not Jad. Also, I'm quite short on money so don't go "Oh, get a Verac Helm".

70 Att, 70 Str, 78 HP, 82 Def, 73 Range, 76 Mage. Full Karil, Torag and Ahrim are available to me, any other Barrow Armour (save Gloves, but those don't count) isn't.

Thanks in advance.

It's pretty easy to get to them. But why not try to kill Jad? In any attempt you're almost guaranteed to kill at least one Ket Zek. Check out Muggi's guide, you could get pretty far, and you just might get lucky enough to get a cape.

I do not have the armour and/or finances for a proper set-up for Jad.

ANY guide I see recommends either Verac or Guthan armour, something just not available to me. That, or have stats to make up for it, which I don't have either.

They also recommend a lot of stuff with the intention of reaching Jad. As such, filling my entire inventory with Sara Brews only to have used like 7 is a waste of money. And I am NOT in the position to go on a spendthrift.

Yeah you should be able to do it if you learn how to lure certain monsters, etc, while taking your time. getting to wave 30 isn't hard, your levels should be fine.

I agree with ryder (When don't I?), perhaps you should consider a full blown attempt. You don't need expensive items to get/kill Jad, just a degree of common sense and the ability to breathe calmly

Just wear ranging gear, you don't the defense from the verac pieces until the 90s with the 360s or the healers. Mith bolts with a crossbow should suffice. Take like 3 prayer potions and just fill up on monks or sharks. Check Muggi's guide in the AoW if you need help with the whole safespotting thing.

Safespot everything, range prayer on the 90s, mage prayer on the first 360.

I went in there will neit helm, black d'hide body and chaps, barrows gloves, glory, whip, ruby (e) bolts, rune crossbow super set, prayer potions, and sharks. Killed a Ket-Zek no problems. Didn't spend much because i already wore that as my armor or had it in my bank.

Really, it's not that hard. If you need to explore the "difficulty" of the arena then just go in the first time with armor and no food/pots and see how long you last. Then actually go and get through the 32 waves of Ket-NERRRRRRRRRRs and destroy a Zek. Just make sure to range it and stay away from it's melee attack.

Thanks guys, did it shortly after my last post here.

Anyway, up to the Ket-Zek, the lvl 90 was utterly annoying. The others were quite easy.

Thanks!
