Devnull, all the times I have installed a video card into a PC that uses an intergrated it automatically uses that one. (especially considering, you know, the monitor is plugging into the new video card and not the internal). The only thing he may want to do is uninstall the drivers, but I don't know if he even has them.

Some System BIOS (such as OEM builds) are not configured that way, Nadril ... (Surely you know this from all your time using PCs, and helping to fix other's PCs?) ... So that is why I mentioned it for gongusan's reference. ::'

No, seriously, I've never encountered that in my life -- and up until just a year ago or so all my PCs were normal ones, with onboard video, that I put in a video card my self.

You're lucky then... I'm currently sitting here, staring at a PC (acquired secondhand) off to the side of the one I'm at, which I'm helping my dad get up and running... Unluckily, it just happens to have one of those tricky BIOS settings that I mentioned. Thankfully, we were able to handle it without much hassle, and got an Nvidia card (I forget exactly what model that it is, but I do know it may be able to handle UT3) put in and installed properly. :-s

Why are you mucking around in the BIOS though? Windows should have just detected your new hardware for you...

Not when the darn thing is set to only use the integrated graphics and nothing else. Wasn't funny, fixing that 8-ball... <.<

Going to back Nadril. It should detect the new one unless you have no administrator rights that prohibit new hardware such as work or parental controls.

I installed a video card in my work machine, and 4-5 others with integrated cards and never had to do anything to the integrated.

THIS one should do fine and is pretty cheap.

Another question here; Are you sure this will work with my comp and be compatible with my motherboard and whatnot?

Yes.

Ffs... Can you direct me to another similar one that will work, but that can be shipped to Europe, namely Spain; I have no idea what I'm looking for...

Gah where's Nadril when you need him... ;_;

Anyone else recommend me a 128m graphics card that will work and can be shipped to Spain?

My specs are somewhere on the thread.

If someone could look at my specs I posted earlier and tell me if this is the right RAM for my PC I'd be really grateful.

And I'm still looking for a 128M Video Card which is compatible with my computer AND can be shipped to Spain...

THIS is a site, and a card, that should ship to you. At least I know it ships to the UK.

As far as memory something like THIS should work. Your motherboard uses the older DDR memory according to what I've found.

Thanks Nadril although it looks like I'll need some more cash, better get saving up. :/

Dang it. Sorry Nadril but it looks like they only ship to the U.K -.-

Ugh, just find the same parts elsewhere. I.E check the sticky about stores.
