June 17, 200818 yr Hi everyone, I was wondering what the best range outfit to use is? I am 77 range and im going for 99. I currently train at blue dragons but I may try yaks cause ive heard theyre good. Currently I use Archer helm Blac d hide Black d hide chaps Barrows gloves Bronze knives D-fire shield Snakeskin boots Ava's accumulator Glory ammy Ring of wealth I was wondering if I should use Void ranger helm Void body Void skirt Void gloves Snakeskin boots Ava's accumulator Glory ammy Ring of wealth Bronze knives Sara book/d-fire shield I was wondering if the huge range bonus loss from hat,body,gloves,chaps is made up for by the 10% range bonus from void. Help or other suggestions would be nice :D lulz wut?

June 18, 200818 yr well void armour gives 10% ranged...i'm not sure how rs calculates this but i'm assuming they take into ranged level so if you have a lower ranged level using d hides would be better...if your ranged level is quite high already void then...if not when u use void at a low range level the added 10% bonus will not be able to make up for the range bonus loss from not using d hide. maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it

June 18, 200818 yr Always use Void on lower defense creatures, and where you don't need high defense (that includes Yaks). I could get ~4-5k more exp/hour with Void, or it might have been more.

June 18, 200818 yr well 10%...that is a percentage right...which means the lower your skill/range bonus, the lower will be the added damage and bonus from void...thus if you have low range you should not use void...cause if you hit a 9, the void armour does not raise you damage at all since every bonus in rs is round down...unless u hit a 10 which will make your damage 11. thus i don't think its a good idea to wear void unless you have a high ranged level already... maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it
