Mining 60-99

Hi there,

 

 

 

I recently just got my mining ranked (level 60) I am wanting to progress further in the skill and level to 99. I know this is going to be a hard/long task. Just wondered any tips and levelling plans for power-mining to 99? I am not wanting to bank the ores. I am P2P. All help is much appreciated.

Well use granite, if you want you can bank for some profit, good luck with 99.

Powermine at granite

 

if you got a lot of cash: use wear enchanted watertiara (3 water runes per charge though)

 

if you're cheaper: get 10 waterskinss, go on lunar-magics and use humidify to refill the waterskins. (Getting from 67 to 70 mine; I averaged about 50k xp an hour)

I would suggest getting your mining level higher (at least 80) before thinking about going for 99. If you still want to, however, powermine granite.

Most important thing what you need, is to have TONS of patience, nerves, and alot of friends who you can whine to about how damn boring/annoying constant mining is :P

 

 

 

And also take creative breaks (like 1 day once a week).

 

 

 

Remember that if you seriously feel that you cant do the 99 mining, you dont have to. no ones forcing you to push yourself over the limits.

As others have said, powermining granite is the fastest method for mining, however, if you have completed Enahkra's Lament you can use a camulet to teleport near the mine. Then you mine 27 500g granite pieces (other space for a full waterskin) and teleport to castlewars to bank. Repeat. You will be sacrificing a few xp/hour for a decent flow of cash.

Thing is... I'm not saying 60 is easy, but its like.. 275k xp. Basically you gotta do about 42 times what you've just done.

 

 

 

I'm 80 mining going for 85, and for that i need to almsot DOUBLE my xp to go 5 levels.

 

If you want a good way, which keeps you going, and you get SOME money in, use this way.

 

 

 

Granite AND sandstone mining:

 

 

 

Bring 23/23 Water skins

 

and 400 cash

 

(COULD bring tele instead of cash, as you pay 200 to get there, and no cash left)

 

Keep 4 spaces on the left empty.

 

 

 

 

 

 

And mine in THIS order....

 

 

 

 

After that, drop all 4 DOWNWARDS, so first one, second one, etc...

 

 

 

When you lose a waterskin (0), drop it, and keep a granite 500g.

 

When your out of waterskins, you shuld have a load ov granite 500g's, and these sell for a nice 1.6k each.

 

Altho you gotta go back to Al Kharid, bank ur stuff, restock on waterskins, and repeat. Think about it, 25/27 Granite 500g's, ur gettign over 40k every load. Altho not MUCH, if your going for any goal high goal, at the end, you'll have your goal and a load ov cash.

Drop downwards wtf? Thats such a slow way of dropping..

 

 

 

The best way to drop is have one in your inv already, click mine on the rock then right click on the one in your invent to drop it. When you mine the ore click to drop it (you already have your mouse ready to drop) Then click the rock again and be ready to drop the one you just mined

 

 

 

Dropping that way is easily 2-3 times faster

Lol it's much faster. If you do drop, mine, drop mine, drop mine, it tires you out SOOO much, so you will slack after a while. This way is MUCH easier, hence the comment :

If he got 99 this way, then I'm sure this way is pretty much efficent, and when you have evidence to back your statement then i will accept.

Or..............Do the quest "dealth with sacrabs" and get 50 runecrafting. Then enchant a water tiara with charges, mine until you have full invintory of 500kgs. Then teleport to either:

 

 

 

Castle wars, bank, and then return useing a camulet.

 

 

 

Al kharid, bank at the pass, get 200gp, fly to bendin camp, run south until you reach the mines.
