I can't link my stats to my profile because I use a Wii, and it doesn't have an option to link them up. STG-44, Springfield and PPsh-41/Type-100 will probably be my most used.

Anyway, back on topic, favourite classes everyone?

I've been keen on Hardcore-War mode, so M1 Garand + Rifle grenades/Sniper scope have been the usual nowadays.

I can't put my favored weapons in order, so here's what I like in the categories:

 

 

 

Bolt action rifle: PTRS w/Stopping Power (or camouflage if on Hardcore)

 

Rifle: M1 Garand w/scope or grenades

 

SMG: STG-44 w/silencer

 

Machine gun: PPSh-41

 

 

 

I don't use shotguns anymore, but double barreled with Sleight of Hand is the only possible way I'd use one.

 

 

 

P.S. Artillery doesn't affect your own team on Core... Or were guys talking Hardcore?

Oh and Artillery does affect your team, it doesnt hurt them, but the dust makes it harder to turn, walk and everything, so you can get raped easily by an opponent if you arent facing them.

Actually, the B.A.R goes so far and kills quick with Iron sighting I might just use a normal B.A.R set - It can go from the Burnt out 'nest' in Castle to the Imperial Army lookout and kill before they notice.

Take that back! Sleight of hand is the best thing to go with the double barrel, I wouldn't use the double barrel otherwise. The BAR is fun to mount in a window, although everytime you reload move elsewhere, makes it harder for them to just switch to a sniper/BA rifle

I tried shotgunning yesterday with double barreled:

 

 

 

Bomb squad

 

Steady Aim

 

Sleight of hand

 

 

 

But this little disease called MP40 put my deaths higher than kills.

 

 

 

And I use my M1 Garand sniper in Hardcore (one hit kill while being fully semiautomatic pl0x?)...

I only use bolt action rifles.

 

 

 

Before I returned to cod4 in January I used a mixture of weapons. Mainly rifles and the Type 99. This was before everybody realised that the MP40 was massively overpowered. WaW has terrible shotgunning maps, though I did a bit of duoble barreling on Dome. On cod4 I use shotguns quite often.

Its not ruining it at all, its balanced quiet nicely, with mgs good for long covering fire at med range, smgs for clearing out rooms and are [cabbage] at med/long range and stgs/rifles great at med/long range

 

 

 

its really just skill, iv killed many smg's with rifles, even pistols at very close quarters.. they have there strenghts and weaknesses, and a skilled rifleman could easly kill a mp40 spray pray

 

 

 

also in the wii version there is NO good sniping map, cliffside is alright.. when the under map glitch wasnt there, now its just a game of defending the marine start point

 

 

 

and shotgunners really just have dome...

its balanced quiet nicely

Too bad I haven't unlocked the 5:1 challenge on this prestige. :(

 

I have learnt that I play best while really tired. Also had a great game on Roundhouse with my Springfield, shot a guy who lived because of Juggernaught and thanks to bullet penetraion I got a headshot on some guy accross the map. Which definately beats my accross map noscope.

I haven't slept in 16 hours, I could go on now when all the Aussies are on and still own. :lol:

 

If I had gone to sleep last night then I would probably go alright to bad, but I only play bad when team play like they got the game last month and the enemy seem to all have artillery/dogs at the same time and unleash them on after the other, I joined a game mid way though and the enemy always had dogs and artillery, as soon as the dogs would leave I would hear "The cowards sent dogs to do their work." after getting 7+ kills they would just purposely die to repeat the slaughter :(

I am now on a [bleep]ing quest to get MP40 out of my top 3, currently it's at #2 and I need the PPSh-41, which is my third to override it. Then it's going to have to be a long ride with Thompson (around 1500 kills) to get the Thompson at 3rd, which will make the suck [wagon] MP40 at 4th.

Castle, Cliffside, Makin for normal sniping.

 

Courtyard, Hangar, and sometimes Asylum for overkill sniping/sniping on the run.

and yes, it is balanced on hardcore it just takes skill (although yes, noob sticks are overpowerd but not as much ppl use them as mp40s.. and mp40 spray pray are just free kills for me)

mp40s have a lot of recoil, terrble for anythign but short range.. rifles are very accurate, while they arnt good at short range vs mp40, they will kill an mp40er almsot all the time from medium-long range
