I missed the the first 6 goals. :cry: Stupid work. Anyway, I got back when in the seventieth minute. I saw a few goals during flashbacks in the match, lucky on the penalty, by Alonso. Milan pressed more (from what I've seen) and Liverpool played very defencive, not that I care, I was supporting Liverpool, since PSV lost to Milan. :P Liverpool got my sympathy anyway, since they were the "underdog", atleast, that's what a lot of people said. Stevie G was really awesome playing in the defence, Sergionho didn't never got passed him, and also Caragher played an awesome match (from what I've seen). Dudek was a bit insecure, as always, but he proved his a class goalkeeper when he did the double save, in the last part of the extension. And the penalties, awesome, Dudek did a fine job saving the penals, a bit cheating, by moving from the line too early, but hey, I don't care, the spannish ref didn't see it either, so it's all good. He was a bit funny though, he looked like a keeper from an old video-game or something. :P The Reds did an awesome job, gratz!

I cannot explain how they won it, but crap teams are making a habit of winning European cups, just look at Porto and CSKA Moskow. Yes, it was a decent comeback, but it helps when you are playing a team who brick themselves when they concede a goal, and that cretinous fool Hyypia should have been sent off moments earlier. This win puts English football back on the map, but why did it have to be Liverpool?! They were the last time I ever wanted to win it, i'd even prefer Arsenal over them. UEFA are apparently still deciding, but I really hope Everton get the slot, and not just because i'm annoyed about Liverpool, but to reward their brilliant achievment this season. It'll be good to see a team like that in the CL. If there is a one thing that Arsene Wenger said right, it was when he said Everton should get the final spot. He said the Premiership is a level playing field, as anything could happen in a knockout game, and you should be rewarded over 38 games, not one. I have to agree with that completely. Everton have been the better team this season, they should get the final spot. Liverpool have won it, fair enough, but they were not as good as to qualify again.

I don't mind you being like a supporter of a club in another country but it shouldn't be your main supported team unless your country has very undeveloped football teams. I have to say it was one of the best games Ive watched. I had money on Liverpool winning before the game began & at half time I was really annoyed, but what an amazing comeback.

 

 

 

Gerrard was immense in the secone half - he came forward alot more which got them the first goal & the penalty. I was worried when he began playing down the right after Serginho came on but he was fantastic at marking him.

 

 

 

Carragher was brilliant too every time Milan looked threatening he was there to keep them out. Dudek was great too his double save at the end of extra time was mindblowing and he was good in the shoot out although he was way off his line for one of them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If Liverpool dont get to defend their title next year it'll make a mockery of the tournament after all its the Champions League and they are the champions.

Even if you get in, you won't actually defend it, I highly doubt Liverpool will fluke the cup two seasons in a row. Give someone who has done better than you this season a chance.
