I haven't been active in the Gallery in a long time. I used to be. Something like 45% of all of my posts were posted here, but i rarely do anymore. I've decided to put up a small gallery for you lot to comment on. Seeking C/C for current things, etc etc. So stop by a while, have a browse, leave a comment :D

 

 

 

About myself

 

I'm a year 11 student in Sydney, Australia. I'm all self taught, as i have no one to tell me how to do things. At the beginning of this year i chose Industrial Technology Multimedia as a subject, and i love it. We predominantly create graphics, we've only done a small travel kiosk/application so far, and are starting to film a movie next term, with accompaning advertising etc. I hope to have a career once i leave school in the graphic design industry, 3d modeling/animation, website design, advertising etc.

As you can see, this is a new version of my room in the 3d section of this post, the one below being an accurate representation of the horrible colour scheme. I am in the process of choosing colour schemes for my bedroom. I have designed some shelving, a mirror and a bed to complement it, as i really need new ones. C/C is much appreciated, as well as colour scheme suggestions![/hide]

This is a fully-to-scale model of my bedroom, colour scheme included. I decided to do this for both practice in the C4D and so that i can decide with a colour scheme for my room so that i can paint it in about two weeks. It's still not finished. It probably never will be up to the standard that i would love it to be. And i still haven't decided on a colour scheme.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is a promotional poster for my school, the SRC is running a talent quest early next term. I don't know which i like, this is what i would love c/c for :D Other suggestions are very welcome.[/hide]

Photography:

 

I am an avid photographer, i take photos every saturday instead of doing a sport for my school. I also photograph for leisure quite often.

 

I own a Pentax ISTDS, a 6mp DSLR, but i hope to buy a Pentax K20D within a month, that's a 14.6 mpg DSLR, 4 FPS etc etc.

You're definitely getting a cookie for your photography, I love it. Especially those landscapes look great. The 3D work and posters look good too. The myspace layout background is quite nice, but near the end of the cliff it looks a bit weird where the grass stops, and that style is overused IMO. It's nice, but I've just seen too much of it.

 

 

 

As for the "View's Got Talent" poster, I definitely prefer version 1. I think the splatter brushes on the other version are just really distracting.

 

 

 

But good job overall, some really nice work.

The View's got talent-poster looks really good. Both versions are really nice. Great work on that! =D>

The talent show poster is great! The top one is best in my opinions as the splatter doesnt go too well with the arrows.

 

 

 

Old work is querky and your photos are great :)
