June 23, 200818 yr Im 65 WC. Im trieing to hit 99 WC, and Im wondering whats faster. Id like money as well, but I realize willows hardly sell. What should I go with?
June 23, 200818 yr Willows to 85, then yews. If you don't mind getting a sore wrist, powercutting teaks is a bit faster than willows at 70+ I believe.
June 23, 200818 yr Willows are indeed faster but on the other hand yews don't require as much attention as willows do so I find I can cut yews for longer periods of time. If you want money, willows will not get you any. Yews are pretty good price currently. June 23, 200818 yr Willows will sell, eventually. As there are hundreds of people selling thousands of them, but not as many people buying them, there is a huge backlog of them. But give them a few weeks and they should sell. But yeah, Yews for instant cash, willows for speed.
June 23, 200818 yr im 83 woodcutting and ive done pure yews form level 60 to about 76 then i did mages for my cash. if you want cash do yews but for xp its got to be willows plus you can burn your willows if you want to instead of selling them. June 23, 200818 yr ^^Mac I think you meant willows for xp :P As everyone said: Willows are definitely faster, but yews are more money. I started at 69 at I cut 183k willows, which I sold for 16 each for just under 3m. Minimum price now is 18 so you'll get a bit over 3m.
