Italian5kamikaze Posted June 28, 2008 Share Posted June 28, 2008 I got cave crawlers as a slayer task and looked them up in the bestiary and under monstrous cave crawler it says defeating this monster gives a bonus 1000 Slayer XP. I seriously doubt that the lvl 130 or so giant ones are worth the extra effort. The 133 ones which you can access after you killed the boss are way worth it..theres about 10+ with 100+ hp, add a cannon into that and you have awesome slayer xp, although the drops don't cover the cost i'd definately kill the bigger ones with a cannon. I'm at Karamja ranging lessers... if I don't kill him in time people run underneath my foe and steel my arrows. Why! Have some decency and let me finish off the monster and get my arrows that I earned you PIG! You can kill it once, with a 1000 Slayer exp reward, and you get access to a room full of Cave Crawlers afterwards. Here's a guide how to kill the Monstrous Cave Crawler The most efficient way to kill the Cave Crawlers you unlock there would be to use a cannon, as there isn't a nearby bank, so you'd have to either take a cannon, or take noted food, and unnote it with the general store.
