Well, the 9600GT is $140 or so and a pretty good choice. I'm assuming you have a PCI-E slot, since it's one of the dual core pentiums it looks like.

Not sure if your CPU would bottleneck a 9600GT though.

300W PSU, you'll have to get at least a ~550W or so to run any somewhat modern video card thats any good.

8800GT is better, but more expensive. Plus you could get an HD4850 for the 8800GT's price and it'd run a hell of a lot better.

HD4850 == $180.

Like I said before though, I'm not sure how good your CPU actually is, I don't know much about the Pentium D line.

I don't know if he meant they have some special warranty or an industrial-overclocked version or a custom fan fitted onto it?

All i know is that they are one of the biggest manufactuers and very well known.

There's loads... XFX, BFG, Palit, Leadtek, Sapphire, Asus... etc etc.

Generally, in terms of your power supply, I bought a Rosewill 600W PSU, and it has served me well. It's great for a $65 unit(after $15 savings). I got it from Newegg. Not to mention it glows blue.

On the PSU discussion, do they even make any with fans in the back anymore instead of having it on top? I tryed to find one, since my PSU place is on the top of the case, but I couldn't, I want a 9600 and I also have a 300W PSU....

Most of the time they have 2 fans. 1 on the bottom (when the psu is mounted) and one in the back. I have never seen a fan on top, that would be silly, it would be blocked by the top of the case.
