This actually worked for me! The only problem is that when I go full screen it freezes and shuts down on me :wall:

EDIT: I figured out the problem! I just have to go into fullscreen ingame \' THANKS A LOT! We were going to buy a new graphics card for the update lol.

I almost did the same thing. But I just couldn't accept the fact that my PC couldn't handle this update, despite being able to handle Xbox-calibur games.

That's another $60+ saved (which will go to the 360 I'm getting in afew weeks =P~ ). ::'

more of realistic and technical solution, because honestly. the RS client is nothing special

:| You can't be serious.

This solution is no less "realistic" than the other one.

This isn't some competition between threads, its two different solutions for an annoying problem. That thread is for those who have graphic cards that might not meet the standards anyway. Besides, by the looks of things, this thread has helped far more people anyway.

What is the deal with people hating on this thread? Yeah, its an extremely simple solution, but that doesn't mean it's obvious, or by any means unrealistic.

People need to chill, as long as people are being helped by either thread, I fail to see the big problem...

It depends on the error message, if its "unable to save loader cache" then you need to play using unsigned java. then after its loaded u can use normal signed java

Yeah, this is for those experiencing the "error_game_caps"

This idea was at the back of my head. I thought about it and thought "nah it won't work" I have been downloading [cabbage] for 2 days trying to get Runescape HD. Nothing.

I feel so stupid for forgetting this, because now it works

If your graphics card can't support it, what makes you think the client would support it? The coding still has to run through your graphics card to display the detail on your monitor. Either way you need to update your graphics card or not play HD. End of story.

Wow....Did even READ the first post?

(Note if your graphics card does not meet the requirements for RSHD, there's nothing that can be done about it but buying a new graphics card. This is for those who's graphics cards DO either meet or exceed the reuqirements, but the game still won't load)

Seriously dude. Read.
