Well i think this is fascinating. Making money on F2P is so much harder that P2P. wat im thinking is that they r GE investors. but again it is still hard to do that in f2p.

Yes, members have better ways to make money,

and, members have better ways to waste money.

when you are f2p and want to do something with your money you can

1) bury big bones :wall:

2) merchant trough grand exchange

3) buy rares

..),,, maybe more  .

once youve gotten full rune in f2p, you would have nothing else to sink your money on. so most people invest in phats/santas/masks/god armour to waste their money and hopefully make a big profit. most level 70s to 80s just keep skilling and merchanting but dont train their combat so they end up with a rich account with a low combat level

People also haven't mentioned that it was W1, F2p trading world. If you are going to see alot of F2p'ers with rares it is there. I mean, with over 130M accounts made, and around 1M+ members...just the sheer volume of F2p should tell you that you could full the GE in W with at least 50 buyers / sellers.

I am 90% F2p and I got skills like 85 wc, 70 mining, 75 fishing all in F2p, they may not make alot of money alone, but together it all adds up. And there is not much in F2p to spend money on.

PS -> I got 70 RC purely F2p, That means I crafted 150K ess into airs. Thats like 900k air runes which makes 14M, enough for santa just from 1 skill.

Ive never saw a person with a phat until I saw a level 3 with a red party hat in F2P. Eventually I will get a santa, but im level 62 so who cares.

theres plenty of low levels with these rare holiday items they probably spend hours skilling or merchanting doesnt really make sense to me. the holiday items dont really do anything sure they look cool but they get boring fast i'd rather have rare cmb items

Which is impossible to do in f2p, so they have to go with the next best thing: rares.

Wc'ing my way to 99 (Wish me luck)

MANY low level 'Richies' are old Pkers/current Bh'ers.

One of the best ways that I know to make money is through smithing. If you buy coal and iron ore, and smelt them, you make a large profit. It's easy, it's fast, it's good xp.
