July 9, 200817 yr ok hmm let me sort this out a lil : well first the best tree for exp but next to no money is Willow now an average tree is a maple it gives good exp and not bad money source the slowest exp is yew, because its crowded and theres not alot of them, but it gives great money the slowest of them all is magic tree,it gives alot of money but the log rate is low

July 9, 200817 yr I personally like Maples. They are average xp and money and at high levels you can cut them pretty fast. Pyramid Plunder Guide Tip.it Forum Rules Adventurer's LogThanks to Cowboy14 for the awesome sig!

July 9, 200817 yr I have 89 Woodcutting and have tested Teaks and they give very good exp. If you do the Tai Bwo Wannai Teaks and decide to bank with Trading Sticks, they give around 55k-60k xp per hour. If you do Ape Atoll Teaks and drop (there are no randoms there btw if you equip a monkey talisman) these give about 65-75k per hour. These are based on my Wc lvl. Both methods are very good for exp and are better than willows in my opinion. 99 WC - 12/20/08! =D99 Defence - 6/19/09! 44,012 to reach it! Aiming for 2000 Total Lvl!
July 9, 200817 yr i am 91 woodcutting and i have been cutting willows the whole way. i recomend willows as they are near a bank and are good xp. willows are not the funnest option so when ever i get board i will go to a yew tree and cut like 1k of them for a little diversity. gl on 99 wcing \ 1 defence pure pvp vid 1: Proud to have achieved 97 cooking F2P
July 9, 200817 yr Teaks are the best exp, but it would require a lot more effort to drop all of the logs. Willows are most widely used as you still turn slight profit, these can be cut at the barbarian outpost using the deposit box to bank, or draynor. July 9, 200817 yr Teaks are something like 10k/hr faster than willows. That's quite a bit of time if you're going for 99, even if you're 90 already. The rock-bottom willow prices can't even come close to making up for the extra time they take, so unless you REALLY hate them, teaks are going to be a better option than willows. Then there's yews, which are another great option if you prefer to actually get some cash for your time, aside from a few occasional high-end seeds. If you can make cash quick enough they're not worth the extra time, but I don't know how quick "quick enough" would be right now, I'm afraid. My guess is something like 300k/hr, but don't you dare quote me on that. Another very little-known option is the eucalyptus tree. I've taken it upon myself to research this method, and after more than 24 total hours of testing, I've determined that you can get about 290 logs an hour there, give or take. 40-50k exp/hr, and you shouldn't need to sell for anything less than 340 each. July 10, 200817 yr Author K ty everybody and I'll prob be cutting willows but will try teaks as well. I will stop every so often to do yews just for some cash boosts. Here I go 90 to 99 wcing, the journey begins( well I'm still 89 but you kno wat i mean) edit: now heres another question.. wat should i do with the thousands of logs that I will cut. Should i burn em for soem good fm xp or try to sell if possible? maybe fletch?
July 10, 200817 yr after your done cutting. sell all your logs if you want to raise firemaking i'd suggest buying maples 99 Fletching 99 Cooking 99 Thieving 99 herbloree 99 magic 99 crafting 99 smithing 99 attack 99 strength 99 defence 99 hitpoints99woodcutting 99mining 99 fishing 99 firemaking 99 hunter 99 prayer
July 10, 200817 yr Willow's at barb assault using deposit box is best IMO I used to think teaks/mahoganies were only good when used for firemaking instead of dropping, that's just my opinion.
July 10, 200817 yr Author after your done cutting. sell all your logs if you want to raise firemaking i'd suggest buying maples Willows hardly sell and when they do u hardly make anything so I think I'll burn em.
