Assuming you have a Crystal or DFS, because you need all the defense bonus possible, or they will eat you alive.. I'd recommend 80+ defense and magic to work efficiently. Barrows gloves Granite shield has 20 more range defence, but 4 extra negative magic (-8 on kite, -12 on shield), but barrows gloves should negate that.
