July 11, 200818 yr I recently thought about possible new Diaries and where they would take place. Counting out the areas left and the possible reward items turns out that their numbers do not match. There are potentially more areas than equipment slots so that not every area can have its own diary ... There are 3 Achievement Diaries released or announced so far: Karamja Varrock Lumbridge (supposed to be released on July 21) In the Guaranteed Content Poll last year players could also choose the following: Camelot and Seers' Village Falador Fremennik (Is)lands Gnome Stronghold Ardougne Burthorpe and the troll mountains (+Keldagrim?) Missing: Desert Morytania Tirannwn Land of the Elves Feldip Hills and OoGlog Wilderness These are all areas in the outskirts of Runescape, where most of the new content is expected to be released. Total: 9 Announced, 4-5 missing. But there is only a maximum of 10 Equipment slots: Head Neck Back Body Legs Weapon Shield Boots Gloves Ring Will there even be a Cape? Diaries are Achievements and not supposed to compete with the Achievement Capes, leaving 9 equipment slots to be filled. What do you think could be the rewards for the according areas and what areas will be without diary? What diary comes next and which is the last? Will there be a Faldor helmet, Mountain Boots, Fremennik Ring, Gnome Necklace? I personally am especially nosy about what will be wielded in the Weapons and Shield Spot. And what we all like to know: What will the Lumbridge Diary bring, except for 3 experience lamps? Have fun speculating Stormpride
July 11, 200818 yr I honestly don't know what the Lumbridge diary will bring, but I know if I wait I'll find out. Personally, I kinda hope one of the Future Diaries is in Relleka, that'd be so cool for an "Expert area" And who says Diaries have to bring armour? ;) Follow me on Twitter!FORGET NOT THE CHICKEN.I have no intrest in helping "keyers" farm xp.
July 11, 200818 yr So far the rewards just make skilling more convenient (tele to Shilo, smithing at Edgeville). Lumbridge will probably have something to do with Woodcutting since it's like the most simple skill ever and that's the most simple town ever. Ardougne will probably have to do with Thieving. Keldagrim with Mining. Feldip with Hunter. Seers/Catherby with Fishing. Those are all merely just from my own speculations though.
July 11, 200818 yr I think after releasing all diaries, there will be a cape. After completing all diary sets, you get a cape. Or trim your quest cape... if you have one that is. Diaries and quests go hand-in-hand so it would make sense. I don't think ALL diary rewards have to be clothing, I don't see why they should be. In recent polls people voted than they'd like to see more weapons that clothing.. So maybe the diaries will swing that way :) EDIT: After thinking about it for a second it makes sense. The quest cape has the blue quest symbol. So my guess is after the 10 or so diaries made, a diary cape will be released, with a green symbol. When someobdy gets both, they both trim with gold or whatever color jagex come up with :) That's how I predict it to be ;)
July 11, 200818 yr Well Gloves then Armour, so i'm guessing boots then legs.. also! I think jagex are assembling machines some kind of monster perhaps? The armour is hideous its The Monster of Achievement Diarys! What will the items functions do are more intriguing. its in lumby perhaps we can fix our own axes PMG
July 11, 200818 yr I heard somewhere that when they get a few more achievement diaries out you will be able to trim your quest cape after you complete them all. One thing they might do instead of armor is a new area, here is my idea: You head underground through a trap door. The easy level diary gets you the first part of a three part key, the first part gets you through the trap door, the second part of the key adds on to the first parts and unlocks a secondary door in the area you reached via the trap door, and of course a third door past the second that you need all three key pieces (which would combine into one key) to access.

July 12, 200818 yr i hope that the lumbrige diary has something to do with woodcutting.. but you are also forgetting about the arrow slot.. all though they probably wont make something for that :-#. i remember when they updated the graphics i saw an achivment diary icon in dranor but that is probably just another spot to start the lumbrige one #-o... or is it :ohnoes: 1 defence pure pvp vid 1: Proud to have achieved 97 cooking F2P
July 13, 200818 yr I get the feeling instead of an achievement cape all we'll get is a full set of armour that fits really well with the quest cape :P Or they'll release an achievement cape as well, maybe a final "all around rs" one that all the others muct be completed to start? and the capes the reward? Doomy edit: I like sheep

And so does the diary rewards. Who says that we can't have more than one article of clothing per space from Achievement Diaries? GWD offers more than one type of sword. Accomplishment Capes all go in the same slot. My Blog - Fishing 82/99
July 14, 200818 yr The guaranteed poll to decide for the Varrock achievement was a joke though... I'm quite sure that when giving it serious thought, a LOT of people whould have chosen Rellekka instead, but alas, that was not the town that got the graphics update a week before... July 14, 200818 yr Eh, there might be only 10 slots to weild things in, but there's only been 2 diaries so far. It's not enough to assume every reward will be wearable.
July 14, 200818 yr Author One thing they might do instead of armor is a new area [...] perhaps the trapdoor could be the one at ge? i havent heard about any other locked trapdoors around runescape so maybe the ge trapdoor could finally have use We already have a Varrock Diary and why should the say Ardougne Diary unlock an area in Varrock? The guaranteed poll to decide for the Varrock achievement was a joke though... I'm quite sure that when giving it serious thought, a LOT of people whould have chosen Rellekka instead, but alas, that was not the town that got the graphics update a week before... Well, considering the Varrock area as mostly finished it was maybe not too bad, seeing there might be more content added in Rellekka hence more tasks to complete.
