July 12, 200817 yr I've been doing some clues lately (mostly lvl 3s) and I remember I did one lvl 2 clue and recieved an adamant cane. As you can guess I was very excited, I sold it and realised that lvl 2 clues actually have some pretty amazing stuff in them e.g. 5M ranger boots and those masks worth a few million. So my question is what is the best monster to obtain them?

July 12, 200817 yr Alot of people don't know it but Cockatrices are good lvl 2 providers, easy kills and I swear I got 2-3 of them in less than 50 kills :thumbsup:

July 12, 200817 yr cannon varrock guards outside the palace. i like the place especially because i can get a clue every 20 cannonballs. i tried at fally but i only get one in every 150 or so
July 12, 200817 yr dagonoloths i got ranger boots off them myself. :D Dragon Drops: 2 left half, 1 right half, 2 D2H ,3 dradon med, 2 dragon pleatelegs, 3 dragon plateskirt. armadyl drop: 1 plate shared between 4. Zamorak drop: 3 spears. Barrows Drops: 2 Guthan's spears, 2 Dhorak's helm, 1ahrim's, hood, 1ahrim's body, 1ahrim's legs, 1ahrim's staff, 3 torag's hammers. KBD: share of vissage. Total cash from drops made: approx 32425000gp
July 12, 200817 yr Harpie swarms dagganoths or cockatrices are good. I haven't tried dagganoths but I have gotten two from a task of 47 cockatrices and harpie bug swarms drop them quite a lot, although I don't have a number as it wasn't a task. Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again
July 13, 200817 yr level 3 clues I never got anything good from...maybe its luck It IS luck =P Try pyrefiends/daggs, they are usually pretty good. : GL
