Okay, so I'm level 129...and for some reason *everyone* under my level seems to think that being a high level means I'm utterly rich. What's up with that? I've seen level 3's far richer than I. And another thing! Some annoying people have this misconception that for some reason I can't possibly actually be female and that I bought my account...not that I've been playing for almost 5 years making my account what it is. Seriously...some people really earn the title of "noob".

It's just ignorant, idiotic people. It happens a lot, a hell of a lot of people with impressive levels have their public chat constantly off and just speak to friends so if it bothers you a lot you could try doing that.

People who chat me up in public, I don't mind so much. It's the people who won't leave you alone on private that bother me. That's why I'm ALWAYS on private off or friends.

 

 

 

It's only going to get worse with this whole lending business. I spent some time at CW yesterday and I got asked to lend my gs all the time. I don't even have one, I've never killed a GWD boss because I've been slaying full time and I don't like teamstuff, I don't intend to go there anytime soon, and I prefer to spend the little cash I have on other things :roll:.

 

 

 

Anyway, learn to live with it. As you'll climb the ranks, things will only get worse.

It happens to me too, although im not that high level.

 

Sometimes when im wearing chompy bird hat, i get spammed by people (even lvl 80+),

 

who think that its a party hat lol.

I know lots of females that play runescape and yes not all high lvls are rich but they have a good amount of money... noobs do that to me to and I'm not really even a high lvl.

My private is constantly on friends. I keep public on, and luckily I'm currently going for 99 wc so I don't have to deal with the lending system as few beggars make it to the yews at the gnome stronghold.

People think I'm rich too because of my skills. I'm not though - not at all. I'm just better with skills than I am money.

They probably think you're utterly rich due to what I like to call overglorification of high level activities. Low levels see some high levels get all these drops at GWD, and hear their friends talking about it, and think that the bosses drop 10m+ Armor and Weapons every 5 kills or whatever. They think that Abyssal Demons drop Whips way more often than their actual drop rate of 1/400 or so. So they of course assume all high levels are insanely rich, due to their misinformation of high level activities.

 

 

 

Also, I think they still hold on to some of their associations about "126s". Remember before Summoning when 126 was the max level? They might have carried those associations they made with the 126s of old to you plus 3 levels.

wel you have 80 slayer and some other amazing stats. if you weren't rich i'd think that you weren't very good with money or you got reaalllly really. reeeeeeallly unlucky.

 

 

 

i think i'm rather wealthy though. i can afford pretty much anything i ever wanted. me ever affording a santa was a hopeless dream for me (they were 30m at the time O_O). now i can get that and still have some money to splurge.

 

 

 

i have in my bank about 20m worth of things. 17m if i sold my guthans.

Some people don't understand and instead of aiming for getting millions and millions of tiny gold pieces, some people want to raise their skills. A level-56 once started talking trash to me (I'm level-100) because he had more money than I. I tried to explain nicely that I have never aimed to get loads of money, instead I've aimed to complete loads of quests and get high skills. Guess twice did that work...

 

 

 

Also, for those people who flame high level females, you're idiotic sovinists who can't stand that a female can be better than you. Buy some planks, nails, a hammer and a saw, build a bridge and get over it. :lol:

I do have some great items...but most of them I didn't buy...my range set was from clues, my guthans from barrows...I mean if I sold it all I'd be loaded, but I rather like having it. I also have pretty awful drop luck....I decided I'd kill about 150 nechryaels....got 1 rune boots drop...that was it for good drops -.-
