I also noticed that crayfish end up getting fished very quickly in the tutorial.

I was kinda hoping that there'd be a crafting tutor in this one. It's better than the old one, but there should be a way to skip the cutscenes. Also I like the old magic tutor, the new one is ugly.

This has definitely be one of the best tutorials for a game as of yet. All my old computer games had a monotone vioce saying "Open up the inventory slot" "Place the long sword in your hand" and things like that. The new one is a lot more comprehensive and engaging. I made a new account just to test it out. I found it a lot better, with my old fall being it way too long. Other than that it was great, and I really love how Sir Vant says he's out of food, then he keeps on healing food if you watch him :P

I like the new tutorial. Some of the things that annoyed me were that the fishing tutor moves after the tutorial, they could have just left him behind the church permanently and the mine collapsed, they could have left the mining tutor in the cave mine and the fishing tutor behind the church and then made the Lumbridge swamp smaller like it was before the tutor's were added. And I found it strange that the people in the tutorial RS and still separate from the people in Lumbridge.

I enjoyed the new tutorial very much. I found that its being in quest form made me feel a lot more involved, and the cut scenes were very fun to watch. I was given much more information on all aspects of the game, and killed a Chaos Druid at Level 3! =D>

Well, I made a new char to go through it, and it certainly is a bit more interesting. It also introduces the different skills and tabs in a better way than the Island. But it is a shame I didn't leave an account on tut island.. :|

I honestly was excited to try the new tuturial because it said something about helping kill a 3 headed dragon and I thought to myself, "thats sounds awesome!"

 

 

 

 

 

I was sadly misinformed, after doing the same things I did on tuturial island, I got to sit and watch some other guy kill it. I hate it.....

i wonder how all the newer players will react when they're in the ingame map thingy and see a 'tutorial Island' and wonder what on earth Jagex is on about and think theyve made a major discovery #-o :lol:

The new tutorial is way better if you ask me.

 

Also I think that the knight in the quest is the 2nd person to wield a 2h sword and a shied?

It's much more informative and will probably help a lot more but to me it was really boring :|

 

 

 

 

 

 

ftw. First account btw, made in like...2004. It's username is Fudge Elmos. For some reason I forgot about that acc after I made it and then made fudge elmos1, which was then my main :P I started over though so he's not my main anymore.

It looks like I'm in the minority here.... I felt the new tutorial was terrible... I hated all the constant running back and forth. I didnt really feel like I was doing anything, just helping Sir Vant while in the old tutorial you fought yourself in the rat pits and everything. Also, I remember in the old tutorial, I was able to get all my stats to lvl 3 \ This new tutorial was long and boring, and imo ruined Lumby. I liked it a lot better before this with the layout. :( oh well... im never in lumby much anymore... only really to go to the caves or the culimorancers chest or just run to al-kharid.
