IeatWindex
Well I asked on TIF a bit, and some friends on RS and im guessing killing yaks with iron throwing knives. Seeing as I want 70 range, is this the best way?
icecube
All depends on how you define "best." If you're looking for fast experience and don't care about drops, then yes, it's one of the best ways. I'd suggest using bronze knives, because there's is little difference between bronze and iron, and you'll save money.
IeatWindex
Alright. I did the math, its like 30k exp an hour.
mugged99
Knives are the fastest method, so your ammo is perfect. Make sure you have the best ranged armour you can afford and have an accumulator, and if you're not worried about money - range potions will definitely help. I myself haven't tried yaks, but from what I've heard they're excellent for training. Help Tip.it create a new RANGED MAX HIT CALCULATOR ~ crossbows, darts! AresArtemis
I'm training range too, almost 70 (68 now). If you have started Frenkenstein Quest, try Experiments. I think they are faster then yaks.
IeatWindex
At 45 range, what should be my range armor setup?
lcchs
ive heard that yaks are often crowded, maybe due to their yak hide drops
Great_one
ive heard that yaks are often crowded, maybe due to their yak hide drops due to there 50 hp and there low deff
IeatWindex
I'll manage. So what should be my outfit setup?
Soccerdudety
Well, I just got 70 range yesterday (Yay me \ ), and I found one of the MOST effective ways yesterday. Using Broad arrows, with the highest crossbow you can, at Bloodvelds. 40k xp per hour, at the least. I don't know what slayer level is required, but it might be worth it to get that level. Good luck on 70 range =) edit- Broad bolts, not arrows.. MY RUNESCAPE GOALS
watts320
I like Fire Giants. The drops aint very good. Since you hardly get what there ment to drop. But Im doing ranging for my slayer at Fire Giants, and its quite fast. Im lvl 54 range.
Guest
I get 25k exp/h in f2p using bronze arrows on guards. Stand on ice mountain, where the oracle is and shoot em.
manufan28
I'll manage. So what should be my outfit setup? Head - Spined helm Top - Green D'hide Legs - Green D'hide Gloves - Green D'hide vambs Boots: Snakeskin Amulet: Glory Back - Ava's attractor (get accumulator at 50) Weapon - Bronze knives That would be the best setup ;) Barrows drops: 1 Karils skirt on first run :twss:
