Guard Boss Rearnt: You're right, I lost my scimitar, my father made :1-1: I'll help you find it :1-2: Do you want this in exchange for your lost scimitar? :1-3: Nevermind, I have to go (List 2) You: May I help you finding it? Guard Boss Rearnt: I'm sorry, it's too late. But you can make me a new one You: I will Guard Boss Rearnt: Wait, Ronald is a friend of mine. He has something to write with. And I'm not getting scimitar without my name on it. You: What kind of scimitar? But we are still friends. Show me your scimitar :2-1: Here ya go :2-2: No, because I really need it (List 2-1) You: Here ya go. [Wielding it] King Ronald: I don't feel like taking it off your hand. Seriously. If you banked the scimitar or dropped it the old chat will come. (If you lose it you must repeat the 2nd part again) You can wield the scimmy anytime. Yellow dot will disapear And you will see the player's chat for few seconds Guard Boss Rearnt: These are the one that destroyed my old scimitar. What am I gonna do? Guard Boss Rearnt: No you are going to Dark Sand Hideout You: Where is it exactly? Guard Boss Rearnt: That's the southest part of Sandterm City You: Does it means I may access the city? Guard Boss Rearnt: Right you are. ------------------------------------------------ I have spoken to Guard Boss Rearnt and have a rune scimitar I have spoken to King Ronald and his top smither named the scimitar I gave the scimitar back, but no-good Dark Sand member stole it I must fight the thief to get the scimitar back In the hideout you see quest sign (you are far away from accessing the quest) If you try to talk to the guards (you can't attack them this time) or try to walk away a yellow text over their head will come: "Getting the scimitar you must" Now kill the burglar. (Protection from melee and food is very useful against these) If you lose as usual you will end in Lumbridge with either 4 or 3 of your best stuff (decided if you used the Item Restore prayer or not) Talk to Guard Boss Rearnt again (that's the only way to do a re-match) ----------------Guard Boss Rearnt------------------- You: I lost the duel. Guard Boss Rearnt: My guards told me that. Show me then you're ready, not until then. ----------------------------------------- Once you win the battle, the burglar will drop Guard Boss Rearnt's Scimitar and bones you can burry. If you talk to the guards again or try to sneak away a text over their head comes: "Taking the scimitar you must" Please left click and click take bone if you want to burry before taking the scimitar (taking it will end the quest.) before taking it read this: I have spoken to Guard Boss Rearnt and have a rune scimitar I have spoken to King Ronald and his top smither named the scimitar I gave the scimitar back, but no-good Dark Sand member stole it I beated the burglar Now I must take the scimitar, hopefully that ends this quest You don't have to talk to Guard Boss Rearnt, the talk will begin automaticlly once you've taken the scimitar. ------------------Guard Boss Rearnt----------------- Guard Boss Rearnt: Thanks for the scimitar. Thanks for every hard work you did to get this scimitar back. From now on you can access Sandterm City for your own free will. You: Don't I deserve a reward? Guard Boss Rearnt: I forgot On The Reward Note will come picture of named Rune Scimitar ------------------------------------------------ ______________________________________________ All parts are over, here are your rewards: 7000 Smithing EXP 38K (38000 gp) Mithril 2h Sword Access to Sandterm City Quest Points: 1 Chat to him again or any of the two guards and they'll say "Access this city any time you want" NPC: Guard Boss Rearnt: This one has orange beard and is clothed rune chainmail body and rune legs. And he has no scimitar if you are doing the quest or hasn't started but holds rune scimitar after doing the quest King Ronald: You know how he looks like, don't you? Smither Hannas: This is a man, he is clothed like this: Black PlateBody, Black Med Helm, Black Legs. He also wields one hammer (smithing one) Dark Sand Member: He wields: Dark Coif, Dark PlateBody, Dark Scimitar, Black Square Shield, Dark Scimitar, Dark Legs (Note: These can only be optained at Dark Sand's boss drop then you kill the boss) The Guards: These looks like the f2p guards, but their weapon is Steel Scimitar What do you think about this quest? Updates: 6/7/2005 68 is now the smithing requermennt. So it will be a while between you accessing the city and you being able to go to the smithers' guild 6/15/2005 Now the reward is 7000 smithing points and the money is 38K instead of 52K. That`s not all, the smithing requestmennt is now 65 instead of 68. Getting to the guild is now even more hard. 7/9/2005 You can't get to Smithers' Guild immediently (no update post this time) 7/19/2005 Now the chance is even smaller to get to the city. 7/28/2005 I have changed the quest, removed some shortcuts and more. maximus Posted June 7, 2005 Share Posted June 7, 2005 being a nice quest in all... on a combat:smithing bases not many people of the ocmbat req. would beable to do this quest because of smithing: Pros: Ppl will raise smith thus making more armos.. ect.. (prices down) keeps noobs away form guild :wink: no guild autoers :o Cons: NO FAIR FOR ME :wink: Not many people will want to raise smithing leaving a QP gap Ppl will complain (like always :evil: ) Long since retired. Thanks to Feuerflieged to point out the reward of smithing, now itÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâôs 7Kexp. And there has also being update about the chance of going to the smithersÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâô guild, it isnÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâôt as easy as it used too, now you need to level up even more to get to the smithersÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâô guild after finishing the quest.
