Bleh, the combat snowman disappears after like 30mins or so :( My mage snowman was closing in on its 8th kill, then it just vanished. What a disappointment :evil:

Ok so my idea is for jagex to introduce an item, the Members Pass into the game. This members pass will contain 31 days' worth of membership that will be credited to the account when used. Here, i propose that when players pay the $5 to jagex, they do not automatically get credited with the 1 month worth of membership - they use the $5 to buy these Members Passes. This may seem redundant, you may think, but I feel that this has many advantages and virtually no disadvantages; espeically since a similar idea has been implemented in an online text game that I play, and I find the system very good and useful. Firstly, this will allow people who cannot pay for members in real cash, or people whose parents are not willing to get members for them, to get members by buying these members passes from other players ingame. Will this affect jagex's revenue from members? Obviously not, as the demand will rise and more members passes will be purchased, instead leading to jagex making even more money, and players are also satisfied - win-win situation. Secondly, it solves the problem of real world trading. It is difficult to stop real world trading as the perpetrators are almost impossble to catch. "If you cant beat em, join em", the saying goes. With this option, people who want to 'buy' gp can simply buy these members passes and then sell em ingame since it will be a safe and sure trade for them. Again, Jagex benefits, instead of letting the macroers earn this money. It also serves to note that NO gp of any form is being added to the game in this way. Please feel free to voice any opinions or constructive critisms on my idea.

lol wads the pt of killing those guys? what u prob get is nth but some coins and pizzas? i believe that when u pk u look for a gd fight or gd drops...stuff like this only wastes time and runes/arrows

well for lvls 10-30, ill say mages own. from 30-50 or 60, rangers own. Onwards, hybrids own.

doubt so....even if it rises, it would likely fall back to around its original price again. The urge of getting 99wc shouldnt influence ppl into getting a d wc axe, given its cost

actually mimes are most common during repetitive combat. my friend has had countless mazes and mimes when training melee for hours on end.

hm..this idea doesnt seem too bad..but perhaps the monsters to be tamed could juz include lower lvled commonly farmed beasts irl to make it more realistic...how would it be possible to tame a demon? so basically monsters like bears, unicorns, chickens, cows...etc. since these arent very strong, there would be no basis for argument against 'taming' as in wild, the player can take out your tamed animal first in say..1 hit?

self-sufficiency i practice when i need items i can easily get or take little time to get. Buying of items are only when these items would take me a long time to get and have the potential to make money for me.
