July 31, 200817 yr I've heard they're excellent charms, great drops and xp, is this all true? cuz a friend says its like 45k xp an hour focused on 1 skill (I do controlled) he said its like 15k for me. So after 90 slay , I'll be 500k xp til 99 hp, should I camp at abbies? ( will be all melees 96)

July 31, 200817 yr From my personal (albeit limited) experience, no to all three. They are mediocre charm droppers in all honesty, maybe like 30 crimsons/hour(mostly a guess based off bunyip time). I have yet to get a whip drop, but they do seem to drop pure essence(noted) quite often...and rune bits rarely...so that's a no. They may be absolutely pathetic offensively for their level, but they do have...averagish-strongish defense, so they aren't really good for melee experience. Hooray pessimism! July 31, 200817 yr They're pretty good training, and drop okay. The charms are terrible though. There are better places you could go to train, but none where you'll get comparable drops and not have to bank often. Basically they're good if you want to train melee and want to walk away with some cash and a few charms. Not the excellent monster they were when whips were over 5mil. July 31, 200817 yr On assignment, they are fabulous. Easy kills, decent drops (pure ess, rune drops, whip), crimson charms and 150 slayer xp a kill. Camping, on the other hand, is a waste of time.
