TriangleNub
How many hours will it take me to get a fighter torso? Are there any really good guides to getting a fighter torso, as I HATE ba.
green9090
First make sure you really want a fighter torso. I'd much rather go all the way and get a Bandos plate, which has the same strength bonus and and almost as much def as barrows, than spend all that time in BA. And yeah, it does take a while. xlippsx
It will take you a good 4-5 hours I'd say. Not really worth it unless you plan on trying to max though (I much prefer the very nooby granite plate for it's defence bonuses).
TriangleNub
Seriously? I'll be using it for slayer (78 atm, getting 85) I dont have the money for Bandos Plate either.

green9090
Well, look at it this way. You could work a little longer and get a Bandos plate, which retains a value that can be cashed in (you can sell it), or you can spend 5 hours in BA and be compensated with a torso you will never be able to cash in for anything. Personally I think it's worth it to work for a Bandos plate rather than half-[wagon] it and get a fighter torso. If you aren't willing to get the money for Bandos, I don't think you should be willing to spend all that time (= money) in BA either. I was wondering whether to get the fighter torso too, but now I think that I will just save for Bandos Plate. "We will certainly not be gaining money or members with this update. Inuashakent
Also, fighter torso is junk. Literally. Worthless. Useless. Use barrows instead, only meant for rune pures. [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]
xSxqPowerx
Meh, I like the torso. Useful in a lot of places where defence is hardly an issue. With a good team it's not that hard to get. With a bad team you will want to murder infants.

DarkX99
It takes around 5 hours - IF you have a good, reliable team. It will take a WAY longer time if you have to keep switching/making teams because of unreliable people. I used the Figher Torso a lot when I first got it, but I consider it junk now. I much prefer Rune Plate or better yet - Bandos Plate. 99 WC - 12/20/08! =D99 Defence - 6/19/09! 44,012 to reach it! Aiming for 2000 Total Lvl!
