I don't really follow any Webcomics. I'll read some from time to time, but I don't waste hours reading them.

Though I had to dig this back up for this thread. Anyone who loves D&D (Or actually, any [MMO]RPG) and Lord of the Rings should love it. Maybe. The end of #48 (If my Roman numeral skills are good) was probably my favorite. But that's because I'm immature.

Read them from the beginning though, it basically retells the Lord of the Rings in comical D&D form.

SarahZero (Words cannot describe this comic, it's style is unique and it's crazy stuff)

Man, SarahZero is so bad. The last like 3 months of comics from him have been him [bleep] about getting banned from SomethingAwful...

Really? Ok news to me but the stuff before all that is good.

It's way too pretentious for me, and the guy is an [wagon] who doesn't take criticism. To each his own.

Fair enough. Still, what I like is how different the art and style is compared to all other comics.

I guess it just contrasts me that much. I was actually at the point where I was comparing myself to 10:58 PM.

I don't get half the stuff in pictures for sad children, mainly because it's hard to tell who is who. The stuff I do get is really sad though. R.I.P. $20,000 computer  :geek:

I'm not depressed anymore, because this guy completely missed the point of that one. :D

I've been reading Pictures for Sad Children, and the first lot of comics seem to be based on (or at least referencing) The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock by T.S. Elliot.

"Let us go then, you and I,

When the evening is spread out against the sky

Like a patient etherised upon a table"

http://www.picturesforsadchildren.com/i ... comicID=32

"The yellow fog that rubs its back upon the window-panes,

The yellow smoke that rubs its muzzle on the window-panes

Licked its tongue into the corners of the evening,"

http://www.picturesforsadchildren.com/i ... comicID=33

"In the room the women come and go

Talking of Michelangelo."

http://www.picturesforsadchildren.com/i ... comicID=37

"For I have known them all already, known them all:

Have known the evenings, mornings, afternoons;

I have measured out my life with coffee spoons;"

http://www.picturesforsadchildren.com/i ... comicID=43

"Time to turn back and descend the stair,

With a bald spot in the middle of my hair"

http://www.picturesforsadchildren.com/i ... comicID=44

"To say: I am Lazarus, come from the dead,

Come back to tell you all, I shall tell you all-

If one, settling a pillow by her head,

Should say: That is not what I meant at all.

That is not it, at all."

La lune ne garde aucune rancune.
