August 10, 200817 yr i know ive done them because im almost 71 pray and i got from 70-71 there and i also keep a lot of bones. in all of that time i havent gotten any dragon drops. ive used ring of wealth and not used it. so i dont know what is the problem. maybe the rate is 1 in 1500 but in all of my time ive done more than that. ive also seen a drop log of someone here wat got 4+ dragon drops in one day which is imposible to get 1k dragons in a day so whats wrong? edit- also dont say be patient because its getting old, i dont want to get 94 mage and 0 dragon drops 1k drags is patient enough and still 0
August 10, 200817 yr Well it is all luck based. You could kill 1 drag and get a visage, or kill 20k drags and get no visage, it all depends no your luck. I'd say you just have bad luck at metal dragons. 1st fire cape May 14, 2009 finally =D.2nd fire cape June 16, 2009 =P.

August 10, 200817 yr Well in all those kills you must have had a load of rune and addy stuff to alch and i expect that made a good bit of money back. But yeah thats really bad luck, s'pose thats one of the drawbacks of killing npc's for cash. Stick to a skill next time :

August 10, 200817 yr I went from 94 to 99 magic maging steels without a visage drop, and only about 4 dragon drops (2 legs, skirt, med), all of which took place within a few days (2 in one trip at one point). Don't lose hope, it all evens out eventually.

August 13, 200817 yr When Dragon Skirts were released, I got one a few hours after the system update. Then my first trip to Steel Dragons after returning from a 4 year quit, I get a Dragon Leg drop. I would like it if Jagex released an accurate drop rate table, this way you'd know the success on getting each type of drop. Just go there for the exp or something it helps time pass a little bit faster. August 13, 200817 yr Well I do believe it is just your luck. Metals seem to not be your "lucky" NPC. I have killed about 800+ Irons and 100+ Steels and I seem to get nothing from Irons and accidentally kill a steel and BAM, a d skirt. So far I have gotten 6 d skirts 4 of which were from Steels. Its all in the luck of the draw. Through many GWD trips I am yet to receive a hilt not to mention about 10 (yea only 10) Armadyl solo's. So I have taken a break from GWD hoping to return to riches. However I have also gotten 4 Cave Horror tasks about 620 horrors in total and gotten 4 black masks (2 in one trip)... They seem to be my lucky NPC. I have heard stories of 800+ and 1k+ killed with no drop of a mask and I have gotten 4 under that amount. Apparently, my signature was to big.
August 13, 200817 yr I'm level 120 (almost 121) and i've never gotten a dragon armor drop. I got a visage from ranging black dragons though sometime around the time they were originally released. :thumbup: So at least you've seen some red armor. I've killed enough fire giants to at least expect to get a d-med. But nope. Oh well, what can you do?
August 13, 200817 yr Ok to clarify. If the rate is 1:1500, that does not mean in 1500 kills, you'll get one. That means the CHANCE for each kill is 1:1500. Those are the odds. So you could slay 15000 of them, and still not get anything. I had a piece of grass on my shoe, and she wiped that off. Yeah. Impressive, eh? That's probably the closest I've ever been to having sex. :P
