What is the approxomate drop rates for rex on Warrior, Zerker, and D axe? Is it like 1 in 150? More?

If you're looking to go to dks you might want to raise your stats a little.

dont worry about your stats i did fine at 75 def. you will definately want to get 80+ def though because it is much much easier.

 

id say you get a drop every 700-1000 casts, after 25+ kills your bound to get a drop if you havent already.

 

 

 

use amazing range def (300+ bonus)

 

use slayer dart

 

try duoing for a bit or going with 2 hybs so you dont get pounded by spinos too often

Yeah, i'm working on getting my def to 80, once I do I'll get guthans and see how I do. I'll just keep protect item on to keep spear safe. : Should Guthans and 80 def + void spinner heal me enough to not use mage pray? And the problem with going with hybrids is, obviously i'm pretty new at this, and when i'll probably mess up in keeping rex off of them.

Hmm k, someone told me that Void spinner heals 1 every 5 seconds, while bunyip heals 2 every 15, so void is better. But I guess that wouldn't make much sense =P. I have the 350+ range def down, but I was still being hit hard, so I'll just keep working on my Defence level, and once it's up i'll try again and see how it goes.

That makes more sence. How well does a fruit bat work? Wait nvm, fruit bad is even higher than bunyip.

i want oro to try it out for me but i guess its like albino rat but instead of 2hp cheeses it makes 6-12hp fruits. possibly great summoning for dk and gwd?

From my expierence, i usually get 1/4 drops every 3 trips. I started at 99 mage though, 75 def, using guthans...I would probably say, w/o using guthans and with your lvl, probably expect like 4 trips b4 you get warrior/daxe/berserker. Add me in-game if you need some more help.

triplewich those numbers are crazy :shock: id say expect at LEAST a warrior every trip :thumbsup: but of course you get a few oddball runs with nothing.

Drop rates are around 1/50 for all 3 rare drops.

 

 

 

And really, it depends on how long you last whether or not you'll get a drop.

 

 

 

I haven't done a proper trip in a LONG time where I didn't get multiple drops.

I have 85 in all 3 melee stats 71 mage and range I'd like to go w/u on some runs I don't have guthans but I do have bunyips message if u want me to go

Did it again, only got 17 kills, but got a zerker \

hey sorry to hi-jack your thread, but i'm lvl 117 combat with all my combat stats above lvl 85, i got full guthans and void knight mace, would you be happy to teach me how to go dks?

will an sgs work better than a guthans ? atm my setup is full bandos and sgs

I have 99 Magic, 85+ all Melee, 70 prayer, Full Guthans, and soon to be Bunyip (By the end of the day).

Yeah, you guys can add me and I'll be happy to try to teach you. :) But honestly I'm kinda new to this too, so if someone else on the forums who has more experience at this could help you guys out that would be great. If not i'll do my best =D.

 

 

 

And my last question is, why does guthans only extend your trip by like 5-10? I would have though it would make a much bigger impact.

I believe that is because you have to eat while fighting still, and only use Guthans to heal off of the Spinyops (sp?) between kills..

hey sorry to just pop in but... i kind of want to do the dragonths too. my range is only 80 and defense is 75... if im the ranger what should my stats look like before i go? also what armor do i need?
