ok today i found out tht i got a mute for 24 hours u wanna kno y! i counted from 1 to 50 and thts y i got muted it was meh only offence ever and i got muted for it! and i can't complain tht i got muted for it bcuz rs dont have the button to complain about unfair punishment so this is a load of bs and now im pissed

I'd hate to break it to you but... no matter where you are in runescape the rules do not suddenly change, and the whole "every one does tht there!" is a terrible excuse. For example a cop is called out to a party when he arrives he finds all the people there underage drinking... the cop isn't gonna say "oh hey, every one is doing it so I guess that means the law doesn't apply here..." Seriously dude use a little common sense before you post ;)

It's spam which annoys everyone else around you and prevents them from chatting normally. No matter what the case is, if you flood the chat window, that is spam.

As Mico has said there is a sticky. You were muted fairly for a first offense in my opinion spamming is a mutable offense first time or not. Be glad it's only temporary.
