August 17, 200817 yr The best way to make sure you get a defender, is to make sure you right click on the drops and check the wording. Its a very small almost invisible drop otherwise. Also I've heard of people spending that many tokens trying to get one defender level. It has a high random factor... some can get like 4 defenders in that amount of tokens. August 17, 200817 yr Yeah i had the same problem, but once i got bronze the rest came easy. Just keep checking your drops and praying you get one.

August 17, 200817 yr As previously posted, it seems the first half of the defenders are much much harder to get than the last couple. Once you get to the last couple, you'll get them so much faster than the first few it'll seem like a joke. Just stick with it and it'll happen for you. Congrats on rune defender ahead of time, btw. Awesome milestone for any char. -Man, I really do love Runescape, and I'm sure if it was a real person I would of asked it to marry me by now.
August 17, 200817 yr Took me like 600 to get a bronze, then had rune in under 1000. Bring your best weapon, super pots etc to get a fast kill count. Check every drop, try to find a not so busy world so you aren't waiting to long for respawns and wasting tokens. I've done even worse, just some people have great luck. I know peopel that got them all with like 300. I'm on Iron (I lost my rune) and I've spent 600 trying to get the next one, and still haven't. iCraftin's Blog Of Doom!
August 17, 200817 yr It took me 2k tokens to get bronze, still didn't get. My mate told be get a wealth, in the next 5 minutes i had my bronze. Within 500 tokens i had rune. FTW. 99 Strength Achieved 26/9/08. L0L in 3 years I've made 7m. In the past 2 days I've made 7.2m on top of that thanks to Bounty Hunter. So why play for 3 years when you can do that?
