The_Fray
I am at a level where using gold charms gives far too less xp and using crimsons is just a waste. So I have to go with green charms, but the problem is that they are so hard to get. I am currently doing bloodvelds in slayer tower but is there a monster that has better drop rates for greens. And by the way I am kind of tired of slayer, due to extremely repetitive tasks that Duradel hands out. And the fact that I really want to see myself get 68 summoning, makes me quite impatient. So anyone have any suggestions? Oh yes and I am 41 summoning, have a few golds left but making bull ants is far too expensive for my taste even if I have the money. Mike_Ike111
You do know that green charms are the biggest waste of money... They take way too many shards for the amount of xp you get.

Will i be saving money then if I make bull ants and buy the marigolds instead of using the greens? I calculated it and making bull ants is far more expensive, so I guess I have to use the greens until I can make leeches or atleast pyrelords. Bull Ants are a huge waste of money, I'd say use Any available charms, but make Macaws/magpies to get 49, then use crimsons for bloated leeches, then use gold for spirit terrorbirds, then at 64 use stranger plants for crimsons, also blues, while they may be expensive they are huge exp. But yeh, the greens are a complete waste and are easiest to get.

The_Fray
What about bursting rock lobsters, I heard thats great for summoning as well as magic xp. Does someone have a guide that I can use on that? Thanks
green9090
Here's what I think you should do. Train slayer or kill something with a good charm balance like dust devils until you have enough green charms for bloated leeches. Then use all those crimsons you saved up on bloated leaches/pyrelords. You should have a lot of crimsons. Then you could probably make all your golds into terrorbirds. Green charm pouches, you will find, are almost always a terrible training option, so it's a bad idea to try to stock up on them specifically. You are at one of the only points where green charms are more effective than gold and crimson. green9090
Yeah, bursting rock lobsters is fantastic. I don't know if Alphakoldes has her guide back up in the player-made guides section, but if it is there I would give it a read. Do be aware that you will get almost all crimson charms- save them and you will not be upset with them later. Nothing like hitting a level and all of a sudden having enough charms to get ten more. Inuashakent
Green pretty much summed it up. Remember, even if you get crimsons you'll get other charms Save em all up and use them in this order: Gold, green, crimsons, blue. KingJD
You could always switch slayer masters. Pick an easier one who will assign you easier things to kill. A lot of the monsters in the Relleka slayer caves have high charm drop rates. Vannaka and Chaeldar will assign you things that reside there. Jellies drop a lot of greens.. i can't remember what the other things that are called that are close to the jellies (not turoths) but those caves seem to be a... gold mine.. for charms
