I always thought it was the brother kills themselves that increased your chance of getting barrows drops. Therefore, after your 6 brother ill count, your chance of getting an item drop are the same from 7-10000. But what does change in your KC is the type of runes that you get from the chest.

 

 

 

Am I right?

I always get 11 KC. For the past 4 days at that KC, I've had Verac's helm, Verac's skirt, Guthan's helm, Torag's hammers x2, Torag's plate x2, Dharok's plate and Karil's skirt. All within 100 chests.

Well when i first started out, I started off with 11-12 kc (only because if i kept fighting i would run out of food :x) But now, 16 seems to be my lucky number : So far, I've gotten K top, Guthan skirt, and then Guthan spear (all consecutively) and shortly after that, i received a Dh & Guthan helm (consecutively as well)

 

 

 

One thing though, just when I've finished getting a good drop, my "lucky" number seems to stop working on me, and a dry streak ensues D: So for me, I hop around numbers during dry streaks in hope of increasing my chance.

 

 

 

But yea, thats just me. (16 is still my favorite)

I agree, I always did 9 KC for about 50-70 Trips, one trip I killed 21 and got Guthans Spear+Helm in the same chest. Also another thing which affects random events is staying at your bank for a long time, try staying at your bank with the bank page open for 20-30 minutes and I guarantee 95% chance you will get a random.

The only reason to change your KC is to maximize the non-barrows drops to the greatest level, which is important.

 

 

 

However, going too high means wasting time that could be used for another barrows run.
