August 26, 200817 yr I'm 70 range (will have 71 within half an hour ish) I want to get to around 80 range. Atm, I'm training at Yaks with bronze knives with accumulator. My armour is Black d'hide, with snakeskin boots and Zammy coif, plus FULL unholy book AND archers ring. I've got over 1M to spend on range, but as i have 40k bronze knives, i don't think thats necassery. I see alot of people with void range, is it really worth it?? I don't want to spend my time on getting 850 points if it doesn't benefit me ALOT, where i could use that 8-9 hours of trying to get it to get me to atleast 74-75 range! SumUp:: Yaks with bronze knives good form 71-80? Void range worth it? What to spend with 1M? (I don't want to pot, sorange pots are not an option) Thanks people :D
August 26, 200817 yr Range pot, it really speeds it up. Only 3-4k/hour for way faster experience. From where I've heard, void beats everything at 90+, and is okayish below 90. I think it's worth it, you wont have to get it again. I would range aviansies, I don't see the point in powerleveling range. Yaks with bronze knives would be good though.
August 26, 200817 yr Author Thing is, i'm fine with cash. Cash is not a problem with me, and i ent done Troll stronhold to get into GWD, don't intend to. I need to know for certaim though if Range void is worth it, cause thats alot ov time consumption...
August 26, 200817 yr Full void will take a lot of time out of your training, but it is worth at for not only training, but ownage and the fact it gives 10% ranged bonus makes it really useful for many things. Keep training at yaks until 80+ then you could also try chinning, as its the fastest ranged exp in the game.... :o hope that helps  99 Fletching - 08/14/08Fire Cape - 3/7/09Quest Cape - 12/29/0999 Defense - 3/17/10
August 26, 200817 yr Honestly it depends on if you plan on ranging past 80. If you are just going to get 80 range and stop there then its probably not worth it. Althouht with it at Yaks you would average 5-12k more exp per hour (a rough estimate) Personally I am 93 range and use my void range armor everywhere I got except GWD bosses (though I hear its decent at Sara) So in short if u plan on ranging more than this short lived training at Yaks then its probably worth it. If not and Yaks to 80 is all you are looking for then don't get void. Apparently, my signature was to big.
August 26, 200817 yr Author Thanks for that. I want to stop at 80, so i guess void isn't best atm. When i get 75+ in melee stats, i might consider getting past 80, maybe even 90 if I'm determined. Thanks again :D
August 26, 200817 yr I did the same thing from 60-70. Trust me void is not worth it for training on yaks with knives. Black dragonhide provides better accuracy, void is just for hitting higher but with knives it will maybe be like 1-3 extra damage which hardly makes a differnce on yaks. But from 70-77 I killed hell hounds using broad bolts, Iron drags, and Black Dragons.
August 27, 200817 yr http://truthscape.com/html/ts_TruthScapeMonsterSecretsIceTrollsCannonTrainingGui.htm Cannoning ice trolls. You can make a lot of money, and the cannon alone gives 45k range xp an hour. You could also use a rune crossbow or something to boost the amount of range xp you get. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
August 27, 200817 yr That's good, aviansies are pretty good, and void ranged is worth it if you are planning on getting 85+ ranged soon. Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again
