Taken for Granted. Three words that can describe a large percentage of my Runescape "career".

I started playing Runescape in late 2005. In those days, you would go just north of varrock to pk, search the forums to find items you wanted to buy or people who wanted to buy the items you were offering. You could buy an item for 150k, and then go the bank on the other side of the town you were in, and sell to a guy buying for 200k. Easy 50k right there. I would walk past the Barbarian Village totally clueless about what lied deep under. I remember going through the tutorial island, while making other accounts, skipping all the instructions, and now that I look back. What fun it would be just to go back. Go back to the time, when there was no bank in Lumbridge castle, or Grand Exchange or bounty Hunter. I look back on those times and think, "Wow, I really took those things for granted." I wasn't much of a pker. Whenever I tried pking, the people I would fight would just run away from the fight, and there was no ditch to stop them. I was f2p and didn't really think much of pking. Too me, it was just a waste of money. More loss than gain. Everytime I went into the wild, I would be barraged by spells and arrows. Most of the time resulting in me losing an average of 50k or more per pking trip. But if I went back now, I would pk as much as possible. I know the Pk update is coming, but due to RWT factors I doubt it will ever be the same as the old pking system.

I also wish I could go back to the time, where I could ask my friend for some money and he could give me it. If I went back now, I would enjoy every minute of those "I'm Quiting" drop parties and any trade that had more than 30k in my favor with the trade. Those are some of the many things I took for granted.

What do you take for granted now? What did you take for granted back then?

Ps: if there's any threads already like this you can just lock this. I used the search, but didn't find anything. I just hope my search was accurate. ::'

I remember back when I would give away sets of armor I made while training smithing... never really thought about it until I couldn't do it anymore..

Can be looted to obtain a variable item and reobtain the imp jar. If you are insane, it can instead be exchanged for impling jars from Elnock Inquisitor.

world 2 fally, when d chains were 30m and looked way cooler, quests were actually hard since updates didn't cater to easier players, old rs music theme, after cw was released, when i was lvl 40 exploring the maps of runescape, and who could forget the unbalanced trade?

If you never lost it you would'nt appreciate it this much in the first place, would you really think back and say, i wish i pked, if we never lost it?
