hi, i almost have lvl 48 crafting, and i have a question:

 

 

 

i am doing the soft clay into bowls method in the crafting guild, and if i do it as fast as i can, i only get like 7.5k exp per hour.. but i read a post from early august that some guy said he could get 13-17k exp an hour making bowls... but this is impossible since i calculated to make 15k exp per hour, you need to make each set of 27 bowls in 3 and a half minutes each, but it takes like 3 minutes to fire the damn bowls.. and i still have to mine the clay and soften it and use it on potter wheel...

 

 

 

so is there another way to get good crafting exp but not have to waste money on it?

Mine gold/silver ore and make necklaces/holy symbols. The only way you cannot lose money f2p crafting is by geting the supplies yourself

You lose money

It might have something to do with how quickly you're mining it and how quickly you're softening it. If you get really good, it becomes less than a minute each. Spinning also takes less than a minute (constant) Firing DOES take a disproportionate amount of time, but rounds off to be about 1 and a half minutes (constant). My best is about 3 and a half minutes. Dropping takes no longer than 10 secs.

 

 

 

I take it I was the poster of the original method :roll: I think I might have been exaggerating with I said 17K XP per hour, sorry lol.

 

 

 

But more accurately, 4 minutes per load translates to 15 per hour. Times that by 891XP per load, and that becomes about 13K xp per hour. My best would generate about 1K more xp.

 

 

 

But all and all, this is the BEST method per GP. Zero loss \
