Yay! Another long waited update from this lazy bum!

 

 

 

So, what have I been doing since I sold my "oh so precious, given as a gift" partyhat. Well, first things first... I have to clear up something to those who don't know how I came into posession of the green.

 

 

 

In early autumn 2007, I returned from my summer break, to forge myself a new road in the game. I didn't know what I hated more, a close friend betraying me, or the fact he took most of my bank worth with him. Anyway, I knew I couldn't let go that easily... we Estonians don't give up! I realized after a few weeks that gaining back my 300M in assets wasn't going to be something I'd be able to pull off on my own before the trade restrictions. I kindly asked each and every one of my friends for help. I was utmost surprised when almost everyone accepted to hand me a donation or two. A few individuals were more keen than others. One of these was Harryhit4, whom I had known for years. Because party hats were an easily merchantable asset (unlike now... who would've known!), he embarked on a merchanting goal of obtaining a blue partyhat for himself, and do me a for-life gift of a green partyhat. Needless to say, he managed both, and a little bit extra. So once november rolled on and the weather started to get colder, Jagex's devilish updates looming about, he presented to me the reincarnation of my hat. As was the deal, I had to put in a little bit of my own "blood". 30M was the number, or about 15% of the cost (then a staggering 220M!!!). Deal done - balance restored. Sadly, Harry quit the game shortly after, but I still talk to him in messenger. Thank you Harry!

 

 

 

If I hadn't sold the hat recently, I probably wouldn't have gotten such a chance again. The deal was well-justified imho.

 

 

 

Anyways.... what have I been up to!

 

 

 

Well... fished a bit more on Holy Viking. And got these 2 levels:

 

 

 

 

 

 

Died right after that, because an Evil Chicken thought it was nice to spit bird flu on me. Luckily I got back in time and saved my top hat, 5k feathers and duel ring =)

 

 

 

Meanwhile on Vey...

 

 

 

Sat in the GE for an hour, puzzled about what to buy. There were a couple of items I had wanted since they came out (1 of them wasn't claws, because quite frankly, they suck for slayer). Closed my eyes, and put a blind offer in for an SGS at close to market price. Instant buy. Great job! :thumbup:

 

And because I had been saving my money to buy a DFS, I had to buy that too. Double high five pl0x GE! \

 

 

 

.... aaaand so I went back to slayslayslay@@@ ... charged my shield up at red dragons and properly tested the sword in aberrants. Both proved to be awesome! Oh andddd loooook what weeeeird xp popped up!!!! :D

 

I missed the real deal by a minute :roll:
