September 19, 200817 yr This is a fitting forum for this topic. I want people to debate what the best slayer gear is for a ~6m Budget. Currently, I'm using whip, rune defender, veracs top and bottom, black mask, glory, ring of wealth, dboots and combat bracelet. I'm iffy on buying a set of Guthans because the price looks like it is going to keep falling, but I know how good the set is. Also, is whip on controlled actually a good method for leveling? Would investing in a Sara Sword be worth it for STR training?

September 20, 200817 yr Black mask Glory Whip Obby cape or legends cape (unless im wrong, but I think they give +9 melle def aswell) Obsidian sheild (me likes gud range def) OR Rune Kitesheild OR Rune Defender Torags Platebody Torags Platelegs Barrows gloves/whatever rfd gloves you have access to Dragon boots Ring of wealth/warrior mental math is telling me that all totals to about 6m or so Edit: I am biased towards Defense so I say train that, but if you enjoy getting 3 levels at once then continue on with controlled. As for strength training, stick with Dragon Scimmy. Sara Sword isnt very practical for alot of tasks IMO.

September 21, 200817 yr With 6m I suggest Slayer Helmet Glory Fighter Torso/ Torag body Torag/Dharok legs/Verac's skirt Whip Rune Defender Dragon Boots Best RFD gloves you can get Cape: Obby Cape (+9 all def) or Legends (+7 all def) Ring of Wealth Veracs Brassard isnt good for training, because it doenst has that great defence stats. Invent: if you dont have 68 summoning bring pineapple pizzas. Heal 22 and cost less then sharks. And a super attack and super strenght potion.
