Yesterday, I was pretty bored and I had nothing to do. I thought of making a skiller account since they always make me jealous, and I though it would be cool to have one.

 

 

 

I registered and everything like anyone else would. I logged in, changed my character's clothes to my liking, and started.

 

 

 

But what do I see? The old tutorial island again?! Whaaat??? I continued through the island; everything was the same as it used to. I logged out and back in, but I was still on the island.

 

 

 

I made another pure after the new tutorial "Quest" came out, so I knew that something was wrong.

 

 

 

If anyone doesn't know what's wrong with this, it's this. A while ago (I can't recall exactly when) the tutorial island became a quest that takes place in Lumbridge, teaching you the basics about the game.

 

 

 

Has anyone made an account recently and had the same problem? Maybe they changed the tutorial back though.

they changed it so if you created an account between two certain dates, you could still access tutorial island.

the same thing happened to me, i was making an account to use for making rsmvs...than i saw tutorial island......i was like WTF?!?! so i just gave up on the account =)

What, Jagex couldn't have the smarts to know that most F2P players (and some P2P'ers) don't read the forums?!?!?!? THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED ON THE FRONT NEWS TICKERS!!! :x

"We have decided to make some large changes to the new tutorial (the version in which you help Sir Vant fight off a three-headed dragon beneath Lumbridge). Until they are complete, we have put the old Tutorial Island back into the game. This means that all accounts created from today will play the old tutorial. All accounts made while the version with Sir Vant and the dragon was active will only have to complete that version of the tutorial.

 

 

 

All players can still talk to Sir Vant, the knight under Lumbridge, for their free experience lamps and to view the tutorials cutscenes. "

Same reason as Mr. Devnull. I don't bother reading the RSOF's, I can't post on them and, well to put it lightly, they aren't that good. I prefer the TIF's anyways :thumbsup:
