Try alching at the nature chest in Ardougne. Basically, you'll get a nat for free after every 3 alchs.

 

I make thing from scrap and alch them. I earn money that way, all of it is profit. And don't give me the sh*t of opportunity cost when I would have sold the materials etc... I get exp too. And it's how I fight the boredom.

its easy to figure out, calculate the cost of the nats + cost of item - alch price. if the cost is more than the price then you will lose money. Seriously, just look up random items, armour, weps, etc
