September 26, 200817 yr NEW POST I made this thread to ask for help, and i said that i would post the results once i tested my theory (read about it below) at zamorak boss. Well here is the result. Enjoy http://www.dailymotion.com/Dragonfang20 ... videogames OK, i want feedback+also help with something. My theory When you fight Zamorak boss, you can easily see if a gs or whip is best. The right one is of course gs. The reason is: cause gs is very accurate. Anyhow, i got a theory. When you get Zamorak boss as task (He's lesser demon) you obtain 15% strength and attack boost. This means, when i drink super strength and attack: i get 135 attack and strength. Notice the attack: it makes you more accurate. Now another thing is: this makes the whip maybe more accurate? Cause with 135 attack you should hit fairly often. On top of it, whip speed is 6 bars: make your attacks hit fast. Gs will be accurate as well: but it's slow weapon so it won't hit to fast. Gs's speed bar is 4: it's slow yet very high damaging and accurate (Excellent weapon). You get nearly 2 hits with whip, when you hit 1 with gs. But my question is: Since getting the slayer task boost: 15% attack (More accuracy) and strength could whip be better option? I would love to try it out myself: but i am currently F2P. And i wanna see if this is a good idea: cause when i become member again i will try it. All feedback appreciated :thumbup: Other things Can someone using minimap/gamescreen or both, show how far range you can have with Crystalbow+Runite Crossbow using Longbow attack style? (Distance from monster that is). I will go and use a regular crossbow myself as f2p, but i am not sure if runite cross have higher range than a regular. That's it thanks :oops:
September 26, 200817 yr Accurate/rapid on a crystal bow is about 3 squares shorter than long range on a rune crossbow if I remember right, and I have not tested kril on task, but I would assume that the strength and accuracy boosts would increase you performance with both weapons equally. As for zamorak: i know both weapons will be increased equally. But since whip is way faster than gs: wouldn't it make whip better? Considering: whip is not accurate without task and that's the reason gs beats it.

September 26, 200817 yr Depends on what you consider better too. You increase your accuracy by using a godsword, but you also lower your defence. In my opinion, it seems like it would be pretty equal. You last longer but hit less with whip. You don't last as long but hit more with godsword. Seems pretty equal to me when it comes to solo. Though, with a team, godsword definitely does better than a whip. Started free trade with 1.5m cash. 2 weeks later, have hit max cash 2x. I would think that it is about even, but this is based on bandos experience solo. I tried whip and obby shield versus my friend who had gs (either bgs or ags, not sure) and same gear and all, similar stats, similar setups and stuff. Our average kills per trip were close enough together to call them the same. And in my experience, zamorak has less defence than bandos does. But we still can not be sure about any of this before we do some testing. And my friend who was similar stats to me is now lower def than I am. (And 94 def is messed up I swear -.- I get hit loads more than I did at level 93 def.. or 88 def for that matter, which I was at for a longgg time. >.<) Started free trade with 1.5m cash. 2 weeks later, have hit max cash 2x. September 26, 200817 yr actually, i disagree with the gs being better. i have soloed zammy several times and my stats are very low considering. I find the most effective thing to do is start with bgs, spec to lower def, then switch to whip/shield. The speed of the whip is very important considering the already low def of kril, which you have lowered even more. September 26, 200817 yr Author Thanks for feedback. Keep them coming. Please remember: Whip is 6 bars in speed and godswords are 4. So a whip can hit alot faster: nearly 2 hits compared to 1 hit gs! And also that i am using Lesser task to make Whip more accurate \ So 2 whip hits: let's say you hit 20-20=40 damage 2 whip hits: 30-30=60 2 whip hits: 40-40=80 1 gs hit: 62(highest i can do with gs and task)

Each spec is very accurate: and if the monster covers more than 4 squares: you hit twice. So i can hit 2 40s with 1 spec. 40-40 that is \ And i can do 3 specs :) So i was thinking to see if whip works well. Cause whip without task: you hit regularly 0s.

Hmm. i dont like the halberd much. if you use the bgs spec, you get much better hits with the whip for the ENTIRE time you are killing it. October 22, 200817 yr Author My theory were to proove that Whip works as good or better than GS. No i have not video recorded GS, but i don't need to. 3-4 kills of zamorak boss with whip is enough for me to say: that it's great But my theory worked, the boss's defence were penetrated.
