Your opponent's magic, and your magic and defence. 3) Above answered. 4) Range is determined by your range and your opponent's range defence. 5) Defence stat doesn't reduce the damage, but reduces the chance to get hit. September 26, 200817 yr When you bind: You will only stop the player's movements. Defence skill: Defends against range and melee attacks. The higher the better defending+prayer does help defending as well. Magic skill: 70% of magical attacks are defended by magic skill, so higher magic you have more chance of a magic attack to be "negated", in other words ignored. 30% of your defending against magic attacks are based on defence skill though. So if you "UP" defence: the opponent will have harder time to hit you with range and melee. If you "UP" magic: the opponent will have harder time to hit you with magic. Range skill: Does not reduce anything. Hope this helped.
